Except it 100% is a valid argument. There is literally nothing in the game you can only do with add ons as such add ons are 100% optional.

May as well take the players out of the game.
I would hope that people that share the game would try to want to make it as fair for others as themselves. I support utility add ons and raid add ons for instanced raids. But for out in the world leveling there should hardly be any except empty trash add ons and such.

Shut down the servers when OP isnât online so his friends canât play without him, we need to make sure he stays around the same level as his buddies!

WoW was designed specifically to have a basic bare bones default user interface because they also specifically included an addon API so the community could create what they wanted. Without addons we would not have target markers, world markers, quest tracking, etc, etc.
AddOns are one of the foundations of the game and part and parcel of WoWâs overwhelming success.
within reason and not breaking the game with unfair advantage. there are add ons that are not accepted. This is the concern.
Just donât use the addons then.
One of the reasons wow was shipped so fast in 2004 was because players offered to make add ons for blizzard to free up development time.
(Same way player mods make Skyrim)
Add ons were never the cheat mode that people thought they were.
Anyone that says âadd-ons ruins classicâ is an idiot and intentionally gimping themself.
The game was designed from the bottom up to have add on support (such as questie), so that developers didnât have to waste time on trivial things player communities were happy to make.
The game was always meant to be customisable so you can play the game the way you want, if you donât like add ons, donât use them.

Some YouTube loser doesnât have the willpower to not use addons even though he doesnât really want to? Iâm at a loss as to why I should care. If you donât like addons, donât use them. Period.

Ur screen will be cluttered if u use add-ons. But no one is putting a gun to ur head.
lol. i want to roll a rogue, find the server you are on, and gank you for hours on end for posting this. imo the thing that hurt this game the most was the LFG system. it meant you no longer had to be somewhat of a nice person so you can get in groups or raids. it made it so you just sit in cities and duel until your que pops.
then again people like you were the ones that sat in cities and would only join groups that had warlocks in them and you would expect the group to summon you when they were there.

I didnt play Vanilla, but werent there plenty of addons going around back then?
i mean a quick google search for Vanilla Addons and theres tons with dates reaching back then?
furthermore if you dont want to use addons, dont, but why shouldnt anyone else be able to use them cause you dont like them? lol

And you can still blacklist people, you still add friends and have more opportunities for groups in the future if you are a nice person.
This is a premade group finder, not the LFG automatic group system that teleports you. You still have to travel to the instance etc⊠there isnât a queue.
