I can tell WoW is the one and only MMO that you play.
FFXIV has 30 million+ subs, 51+ players and has a super strict 0 addon policy. Proof that addons are not needed to play an MMO.

Just go to MMO population. That website. And type in FFXIV. Their numbers have actually grown since last I checked. It now shows as 64 million, 918 thousand, 496 subs. Why are you not capable of looking it up yourself? Need me to do it for you? Do you need an addon to help you? That many subs, zero addons being used. You can’t look up sub numbers for yourself because you need an addon to do it.
Addons fix game issues because the Devs are to lazy to do so.
Devs make encounters with problems, addons are then created to fix those issues.
If you don’t like addons don’t use them. Other people with addons have ZERO affect on you.

You’re the one trolling here. I told you the EXACT sub number in my very last post. Their EXACT sub number for FFXIV. You have yet to post any numbers on anything. I even told you what site to go to, to get the info.
That number is 64,918,496. So now 64 million + subs for FFXIV.
Lets look at the site you referenced.

The issue is “total players” represents every person that ever had an account for that game. Not active players.

Exactly. And WoW has existed longer so shows up as having a bigger number. But FFIXIV has more current active players so they claim and they have a zero addon policy. No addons. You do not need addons to play an MMO.
Blizzard should provide their own addons since they now design the game to be based around using them. What new player is downing a Mythic with zero addons? None are without extreme help. Other MMOs are now starting to come out with a zero addon policy.
And my 64 mil for FF was their total number of all subs combined. Their current active subs are still 30 million vs WoW’s 7 million. Done with ZERO addons allowed.
Not saying FFXIV is a better game. I do not like it in the slightest and refuse to play it. Just stating how their zero addon policy according to the devs and the players has really helped the game.

I never once said WoW has less active players. Not once. Active players are the DuA count, not the sub count. FFXIV has more subs. WoW has more created accounts over it’s history of having existed for 2 decades so that is counting all accounts ever from 04.

You seem to think subs = daily player count. You’re one of those people. Why don’t you link sources on so many of the claims you make here? See why I didn’t? Cuz you never do when other people ask you to out of your near 40,000 forum posts.
And you got butthurt about me saying that WoW has less subs than FFXIV and FFXIV does not allow addons which is proof that you don’t need addons to have a successful MMO. I don’t mind people using addons to play the game for them in pve.
It really stinks in pvp though.
This isn’t the flex you think it is.
Just like posting on an alt makes you feel better about yourself. Keep your head up though, the heroic dungeon crew needs more dead weight to carry.
When they tune content do you think the Dev team runs through the content with no addons… Then once they put it out for testing do you think the top gamers test with no addons? Do you think when they aggregate data for raids and dungeons they specifically collect data from only players not using addons…
If the developers did not take addons into consideration when tuning high end content then race to world first would get steam rolled. Conversely remove all your addons and then go raid Mythic plus and consider if its even possible to complete without them…
Its not a matter of proving that they consider addons when tuning high end content…Because they exist they have to… Its obvious.
