Activision Blizzard sued by California. This is bad

Did you even read the lawsuit? There’s a lot more than just blind faith.

I’ve always maintained one stance when it comes to Blizzard.

I will be critical of that which deserves criticism.

And this deserves a metric ton of criticism and then some.

Be careful, if you make a valid point against Carhagen, he will completely ignore it, and ignore you too!!!

2 year long investigation

Yeah cause California has such a stellar record right? O.J. Simpson getting off from murder. Or the other side where California has a law to pay wrongfully convicted people $140 a day they spent locked up because it happens so much.

We’re all trying to ignore you… Not just Carhagen.

Who are you again?

Oh right, probably an alt of someone else I’ve ignored, judging by the 1 post history and the fact that you’re a level 10. Well, bye.

lawsuit ?? I can file a lawsuit right now against you for spreading false rumors. I have the complete freedom to do that and nobody can stop me not you ,not government , no- one. Should you believe all lawsuits blindly ??

Here is what the commoners think - a hot Male taking advantage of underage girl is considered sexually harassment, but a Hot female taking advantage of underage boy makes the boy lucky?. The commoners are dumb, don’t be like them

Again, it was a two year investigation, not something someone threw together in an evening.

What a disgusting article, guess the company environment is just as bad as their games :joy:

Then why is it going to court? you are 100% percent sure its the truth right, pass judgment right now. Screw “the innocent until proven guilty” BS then

Because they initially tried to settle with Blizzard and they refused to. Once they refused to settle, the only way to continue was to go to arbitration. And they’d only be pushing forward with this if they had enough evidence to win. Keep in mind that Blizzard is a multi-million dollar company with a top-notch legal team, going up against them in court is risky if the evidence is not there as Blizzard could easily make the state pay if it the state couldn’t prove their case.

As Meau pointed out, this isn’t one defendent and her legal team making a claim of harassment, this is the Department of Fair Employment and Housing. Riot Games faced a similar lawsuit a few years ago, and Ubisoft is facing one as well.

Because everything has to go through a court? That’s how our justice system works? They could have all the physical evidence that would prove their case and they would still have to go to court because that’s the natural progression of the judicial process.

What’s your point here, exactly?

Your meltdown over your bad takes being ripped apart over and over again is quite amusing to watch.

The fact that this is flagged makes me uncomfortable in the Orwellian sense

Oh I don’t know, maybe Saudi Arabia where women couldn’t leave the house unless they were escorted by a man until June of THIS YEAR.

Yes, compare Saudi Arabia to Blizzard.

How’s it going, Bearimanalow? Found out that you were outnumbered so you decided to hop back on your other toon again?

My favorite part about this thread, it helps reveal who is actually disgusting.
