Activision Blizzard sued by California. This is bad

It’s actually pretty easy if you’ve ever worked in an office space. Toxic masculinity is pretty rampant with men who exist in a position of power.

Agreed. I am a Christian but also know that the worst thing about Christianity are the “Christians”. I am very skeptical of those who profess the most loudly.

Ha! Good for you. I had a company do the same to me a few months ago. I abruptly quit after a little over a month working there. I could already tell it was not going to be a good working environment. They kept my last check to compensate them for the moving expenses that I was reimbursed for. I thought about pursuing it with the labor board, but decided it wasn’t worth it.

So is feminism. A person in power asking you do your job and meet certain metrics is not them harassing you because of your Gender, which is one of the most common cases you get for filing for office harassment . You need to take it professionally , you do not take it personally.

I mean, CURRENT Blizzard employees are saying “I believe the women and it’s about time” so, really, anyone who’s still hiding behind the “I need ironclad proof” nonsense is choosing ignorance.

Which is honestly understandable. After 16 years invested in this game, I went through my own process of wanting to believe it wasn’t that bad. Or that it was just one or two people. Or that there was a rush to judgment. But that’s just not reality. There is overwhelming corroboration for what’s in the complaint. Those who don’t see it don’t want to.

Thats not what feminism is, and you know that.

Okay.

But the lawsuit has plenty of instances that indicate that that was not what happened.

Case in point, an Activision employee committing suicide because her nude photos were shared between men and her boss brought butt plugs and lubricant with him on a business trip where she experienced intense sexual harassment.

I was threatened with being fired when I had my baby, because they didn’t want to keep me employed during my recovery, I was one month shy for being eligible for FMLA. This stuff happens all the time, and it’s awful. Completely different business and different state.

It’s all in the delivery tho. I’ve had some incredibly wonderful male bosses, and I’ve had a few that stood too close, got way too touchy feely when giving a direct order.

Lord.
I rented from a ‘christian’ couple maybe 20 years ago or so.
She was the WORST property owner Ive literally ever crossed in my adult life. Her rentals seemed really nice at first…
Once i signed the lease and was trapped for a year, I went to have the propane tank filled.
Nope…it was locked out. The previous tenant left with a billed owed. They literally expected ME to pay for the previous tenants bill AND pay to have it filled in my name too. lmao.
Landlord knew it…this ‘christian’ woman…but just happened to leave that little detail out of the conversation we had BEFORE I signed anything.

They were too cheap to fix anything…the toilet leaked…so the floor started seriously rotting. She wouldnt fix it so I had to pay a family member who is a contractor to do fix it instead.
The electric box…jesus. She refuse to REPLACE the breakers as they went bad. Im not joking here…her husband had rewired the place so the entire house was running off TWO breakers. Literally a breaker is for ONE room most of the time, or even ONE major appliance like a stove or electric furnace.
You could fart and knock the breakers out they had some much going thru them…lol.
I ended up getting out of the lease she had so many violations that they refused to fix.

some ‘christian’ woman

This is all because of our crappy social media and making it very easy to witch hunt and ruin ppl lives.

You know those two college Footballers who got accused of rape culture well that was made up 10 years ago . Meanwhile those guys lost their future careers ,scholarship , are branded by their community and are rotting for the rest of their lives as ppl blindly believed the girl.

This is why "innocent until proven guilty "is very important to uphold. So you have the every right to doubt any such claim.

If I can feel your body heat, your in my personal space, and you need to back off.

It’s the equivalent of a women rubbing her breast on you.

I’m truly disgusted that this has happened, especially the factor that a woman took her own life. Actions need to be taken.

Don’t even pay him any attention anymore. It’s literally Daelinn on his alt shaman arguing the same points because nobody will agree with him. They’re both from the same guild, same server, they have roughly the same amount of achievement points, and many of their achievements they got on the same exact day as one another.

It’s actually quite pathetic.

Again, someone who shouldn’t be taken seriously.

Do yourself a favour and stop defending corporations. That’s who’s on trial here, the corporation, Blizzard itself. Not anyone in Blizzard (although Alex Afrasiabi is mentioned by name, along with JAB) but the company as a whole.

And the State of California would not be moving forward with this case if they did not believe that there was enough evidence.

Whose defending who ?? I am neither defending the so called Corporation nor defending the so called victim or false victim.

Let me guess because I am not favouring the so called victim with Blind faith makes me a defender of the corporation ?
