Activision Blizzard sued by California. This is bad

Be careful guys, IIRC during the HK incident silences were being handed out to anyone that even mentioned it when it first came out. Since this is even worse I’m worried some of you might get suspended for insane amounts of time.

Blockquote How often have these kinds of allegations, when it’s more than just one person making a tweet, turned out to be NOT true?

Evidence?
No?
Only statistics you just made up?
Thought so.

Going being the key word. This is not something that has already been proven its something that needs arbitration to decide which side is right and which side is wrong.

What I find gross is the very people who think police are all bad and we need to defund them (which you may or may not be but I’m willing to bet the majority wanting to find Blizz guilty at this point are) being the same people who now support canceling a company because its going to court…

Its like they don’t realize that its all part of the same judicial system.

I really like that poster but that drives me up a wall .
No…a man is NOT innocent UNTIL proven guilty.
That is the LEGAL aspect of it…but factually he is either guilty or innocent in reality long before a jury tells us how they interpret the evidence.

Lots of innocent people are convicted and lots of guilty criminals are found ‘not guilty’ .

What kind of proof do you guys want exactly? I mean, yeah you can lie about being sexually assaulted but if your first instinct is to assume these women are lying because they don’t have a high definition recording of them being sexually assaulted, I don’t even know what to to say. Imagine if that was a family member or a friend of yours. Would you tell them that you don’t believe it cause there’s no concrete evidence? This is actually awful

You miss the part that they’re going to court over the fact there was a 2 year investigation over this stuff happening?

Pretty sure they wouldn’t take them to court if they found nothing

But I’m sure you know more, you’re totally the only person who knows the real story

are you from the south or texas or somewhere like that?

Any dirt on Bobby Kotick himself in this newly released information?

So instead of addressing issues or having logical arguments in a discussion your just going to hurl insults. Well feel free, I’m sure you can do better though, come up with something creative.

It is honestly a joy to watch people argue things they are clearly out of their depth in.

It kinda does though. While its a dick move, only like 12-14 states have laws against it. Idk if it’s california though. but thats not what I was thinking about though. Was wondering if it’s another case of everyone being fine with it (the jokes and such) until a relationship goes wrong and now people want to say they were against it the whole time.

lol this whole exchange was hilarious

Nope, WI.

And not from southern WI. Some places down there are almost as bad as CA.

Yeah, hi, welcome to the internet.

But also, I’m not dumb enough to engage with a troll like you .

Indirectly it’s a sign of bad management.

lol :+1:

Everyone here defending this nonsense has no idea how the judicial system works. There’s so much more to a court case than concrete evidence.

I’m sorry to say, but most women aren’t living their life with a tape recorder or their phone at the ready to film a man sexually harassing/assaulting them. That’s just not how it works. Anyone who thinks it’s as simple as “where’s your evidence?” has a child’s understanding of law and order.

The worst part is there even is evidence, people who work at the company confirmed a lot of this stuff happened while dealing with police

But no, thats not real evidence I guess

So what do you propose? mob mentality where if you get enough cosigners you can condemn someone w/o evidence? Going back a couple hundred years to the witch hunt days…

This is correct. That’s why testimony exist. The witnesses are going to be key to this thing
