I can’t believe I have to explain this to you, but here goes…

It’s not JUST a Breast Feeding Room. It’s a room that CAN be used for that WHEN NEEDED. It doesn’t become unused just because you have no recent mothers.

And there are things called BREAKS and LUNCHES where women can take care of things like that. If a company allows women to take a few minutes to take care of that, paid or unpaid, that is up to them (unless the law forces them to do so…I honestly don’t know, and I’m sure it varies from state to state).

Why do these LAZY women get their own room to touch their boobs when they could be makin me money!!!1

Blizzard needs to come out and admit there were issues, not fight this in court and do whatever they can to cooperate and make this right. Fire all the leadership and start over.

Seriously though this is an insane concept to me. Why would any company pay you to pump at work when your supposed to be working.

Do you have employees who smoke? Do you have employees who poop? Pumping breast milk takes roughly the same amount of time and is a bodily function that cannot be denied.

I’m glad you’re not the kind of man to hire women because you seem like someone who would make them very sorry they ever tried to work for you, no matter how good their product of work turned out to be.

When you here breast feeding room what does that indicate? Well feeding is current tense so it would be the act of actively feeding a child at work. This is what I had assumed. Its what anyone who hasn’t had experience with CA laws and is familiar with the English language would assume.

My guy, you said you’re a supervisor and have employees working under you, and you really claim you have no idea how a breastfeeding room works, something that is mandated under federal law?

No it doesn’t mean that there is no evidence. Nor am I saying there is no evidence. What I am saying is that Blizz felt that there would not be enough evidence to lose a case. And that the cost incurred in ligation would be less then the asked for out of court settlement (that usually includes a NDA.)

So to a rational person that means you hold judgment until you see the evidence, anything done before that is irrational and based on knee jerk emotions.

I think they could go a long way with building trust again by literally NOT doing anything that comes natural to them.

Corporations can’t ignore or brush off these types of complaints nowadays.
