No, you’re the one that butted in when I was speaking to someone else.
My point is that that talking about you, isn’t harassing you, and bringing up things I said off the forum (months and months ago, mind you) serve no purpose. You’re the only one who constantly drudges up the past. Again, I implore you to learn from your past mistakes and try to be better for it. Best of luck to you.
@ Alakhai, my apologies, I usually prefer to ignore them but their shtick gets annoying over and over again.
While we are at it, MAKE THE FORUMS KILL ANY POST FROM USERS YOU IGNORE.
The repeat trolls that spam fake concern trolling (looking at you 7 billion “x group needs representation” posts) would lose all their steam if ignoring them made it so people couldn’t even see they posted any topics at all.
I wish that the WoW forum was the same as the other Blizzard game forums and used our Battletags instead of our characters. Although, I do wish there was an option to keep our preferred characters portrait.
They could just keep the armory as is and update the WoW forum. I feel like some people play the forum like it’s its own game and it would make it a much more manageable and nicer place if it wasn’t so easy for people to play their little games. Not perfect, but better. It gets exhausting to see. And this is a topic that is popping up more and more because people cannot seem to control themselves or be accountable.
I’m responding to people that talked about me, so why don’t/didn’t you ask them? I don’t need to question why, because I know. If you were really against ‘off topic posts’ one, you wouldn’t be making them, and two you would’ve gone after all the other people who I was responding to wouldn’t you?
In fact, you also liked some of those posts including ones that were both off topic, attacked me, or say only 4 words.
You even linked peoples posts from other threads.
Guess you should stop participating in it, then.
No, you spoke about me on a public forum. That simple.
Talking about me in a deorgatory manner, and using other platforms to continue doing so is.
Hmm, kinda like you bringing up stuff about me in this thread? ;3
There is a way to do it… it is a bit complicated though and involves an ad blocker script. Between that post and the original it used content, from you can modify your browser to do what you want.
It would also be great if they improved the ignore feature like others have mentioned. There are a handful of notorious trolls who get their kicks by trolling, some of them are even here in this very thread.
I am not usually one to think with mob mentality but if reports do not work to handle these kinds of people, a functional ignore feature that fully hides someones replies and threads would be great. I understand that their isn’t a “real” ignore feature because it is counterintuitive to discussion. I agree with that, but some people (see above) have made it crystal clear that there is no intention of discussion, no intention to reconcile and move past differences, etc.
It is just very annoying and somewhat disheartening to see that some people choose to use this as a Bicker Board and not a Discussion Forum. I feel like if you can’t play nice, other people shouldn’t be forced to have to play with you. (In the context of forum discussion, that is)
It’s a nice thought but to be honest, I just wish it was something easy and possible to do without any kind of add-on program. I imagine that the third party site WoW got its forum from was the cheapest bid and the forums they offered were not designed for video game discussion.
:3 it’s seems you are really angry over a discord server. You probably want to be friends with them I guess you are Tsundere pawzer why didn’t you say so?
I get people want that class fantasy as well, I know it has been put out here a few time, but they could have the btag name listed between our name as it shows here and our level. People can still pull out all the alts they want but we know they are linked to X account.
Yep, I am sure there are many logical solutions to this. I have seen people bring up that something like this would ruin the RP forum community. And I mean… maybe? Not really? And in any case, what’s more important, a sub-community within a sub-community within yet another sub-community, or dealing with a problem that likely affects every sub forum category. This is not just a GD issue.
