Account suspension wait times?

Are account suspension ticket appeals reviewed quickly? Or does it take a long time as of right now with fresh servers?

Many thanks for any speedy Blizzard replies. <3

Anything from hours to weeks depending on their ticket queue.

Iā€™ve seen them solved as quickly as an hour, and Iā€™ve seen people go their entire suspension, and getting back on the game before their ticket is handled.

It also depends on what the suspension was for. A chat violation can go quicker, as itā€™s just a review of chat logs, and can be reviewed quicker.

A cheat or hacks violation has more logs, could take longer.

Probably no more then 5 days, unless a moderator has updated info.

Thank you so much for the information. It is a chat log. What is the ETA for that?

Many thanks <3

Probably a day or 2 depending on. Sevwrity.

Hoping to find this out myself. I woke up to log on and it says my account is suspended for 7 days due to a code of conduct violation and to check my email for details. I have no such email, and from what I gather the first time you get suspended for abusive chat itā€™s 24 hours and Iā€™ve literally never been silenced or suspended before.

Whatā€™s even weirder is the time left on the suspension makes it look like I got suspended literally as soon as I logged off late last nightā€¦

It is possible that the suspension was applied around that time. Please keep in mind though it would have been for a violation from days or even weeks ago. Reports take time to go through.

The only thing I can even think that I would have got in trouble for is calling someone the B word a couple days ago for ā€œstealingā€ an escort I was waiting for (I know, childish and stupid of me). But everything Iā€™ve seen online says people get silences or 24 hour bans first and 7 days is for repeat offenders. A week for a first offender seems super extreme for that, but maybe that is the new standard.

Not anymore. They changed that a year or two ago because the short silences were not having the desired impact.

The first is now a week Silence. Followed by a week Suspension for the second and up from there, eventually, to license closure.

Any violation on the license from about 2016 forward counts against the license. They donā€™t reset or age off.

EDIT - yes, any profanity would be a positive for a chat violation if reported. Blizzard does not allow profanity, masked profanity, insults, slurs, hateful speech, sexual innuendo/content, references to illegal substances/actions, trolling to pick fights/cause chaos, advertising, spam, etc.

Thatā€™s good to know, but sounds like I should only be silenced for 7 days since iā€™ve never been silenced.

If this is a first offense on the license then yes, that should be a week Silence as far as I know. Unless it changed in the past few days. They CAN go straight to harsher penalties for severe infractions, but usually stick to the standard pattern for normal mild stuff.

It is possible you have a social infraction on the license from long ago that you donā€™t remember. Maybe a Blue can answer that question when they are in.

Blizzard can close an account if they feel like itā€™s needed.

They can do whatever they want with the accounts. Blizzard own the account and everything in it. We, as paying players, merely lease it.

Petitions are against the forum COC and are quickly shut down.

This thread is not about you, as far as I can tell. Please stop jumping in threads and derailing them. No, you canā€™t spam petition posts in game or on the forums.

Closure of a license for chat infractions usually requires multiple offenses, unless they do something really really bad.

Again, this thread is not about you or the Cam brigade alts.

Stop hijacking threads and trying to argue with everyone then.

Youā€™re not being attacked, nor are you an innocent ā€˜victimā€™ as you seem rather happy to jump into threads to cause discord and continually breach forum rules.

Pretty sure a forum moderator has already given you a warning or two.

I know you have said there is no such thing as a forum vacation, in a recent reply? If you keep up this nonsense and donā€™t listen to the moderators advice, you might find out they are very real indeed. Just like in-game, there are penalties here too.

Yes, I know you most likely have me on ignore - but that doesnā€™t invalidate this sincere and friendly warning. None of us want to see anyone lose their posting abilities.

Um, you might want to have some of this coffee and edit your post Vorsol. That is a bit much.
