Account Suspension? Gold buying? Does GDKP count?

There has been a recent wave of bans tied to people receiving illegal gold through GDKP runs on Wrath Classic.

While understandably, it’s difficult to be able to vouch for the gold you’re receiving through these runs - the big cincher here is that GDKP runs and any kind of in-game service/boost transactions are risky business for people on both sides of the coin. People paying for the runs can have their gold stolen and no service provided, but people selling the runs can feel the sting of sanctions for receiving illegal gold.

These sorts of things are unsupported for a reason. It’s risky business, but people will do them no matter what Blizzard says.

Please do keep up with your appeals. I know you said you were “banned”, but too often players use that term interchangeably with “suspended”, but whichever it was, perhaps it will be lessened or overturned. A lot of folks have come through here in your position and it’s been a mixed bag as to whether the sanction sticks, is lessened or overturned altogether. I do wish you luck, however it turns out.
