Account Closure, Banned for hacks/ cheats/ exploit?! WTH

Got Banned on y EU account 24 Hours ago I cannot post on the CS forums because of the ban.

Ticket # EU102084062.

I haven’t played wow for 7 years.

Acutely, I was struggling to understand how to create items and how to catch up with the war within expansion. I was completely lost and relied on YouTube videos to learn what to do where to go how gearing systems work, which addons are most trusted, and how to use edit mode.

After 7 years break from WOW, I purchased the game midnight epic using my bank card on December 10. after only 7 days of playing I was banned???

Below is a list of addons I downloaded:

TomTom, Bigwigs, Bugsack, DBM, Details, GTFO, Handynots, littlewigs, OmniCC, Pawn, Plumber, Prat, Rarity, Recount,

WeakAuras( Which I do not know to use yet, my plans were to watch tutorials to learn it)

world quest tracker, moveanything, rarescaner/

I was leveling my characters doing story line quest doing some dungeons and I went to sleep yesterday, and I wake up and my account is closed with this Email:

I did not use any kind of automation software or anything remotely similar to this, I have no reason to use one and never used them. I got I used PC recently to play the game.

my IT skills considered to be very low. I’m barely manging the edit mode and the game interface. and boom out of the blue I’ve become hacker!!! the killing joke

You need to appeal with eu. No one here can help

Their detection software will look for any automation. Sometimes mouse clickers or other automation acceptable for other games can trigger this. Even if its not affecting your WoW game. Just being on the computer can raise red flags.

False positives are possible - but from what I’ve gather from this forum, unlikely. The only way to appeal this though is through a ticket. The CS forums are not the place to appeal. Sometimes a blue can provide more details but that’s not a guarantee, but the resolution comes from a ticket not the forums.

All the add-ons you’ve posted wouldn’t have gotten you action. They’ve been used by players for many years, and if blizzard doesn’t like how an add-on works, they’d break it on the back end.

I’m banned and I did appeal and it’s marked as resolved

Appeal again, no one here can assist. Not even sure the forum support agents can see info from the eu system

You don’t talk to anyone. You can open another ticket and place the other ticket number in the appeal. But if they said it was final, you’d be out of luck. Otherwise, you can keep appealing.

I’m sorry, Repo, but there are no Game Masters on the forums, nor would they be able to discuss this action with you.

The appeals process is not a discussion. When you appeal they look into the action that was taken and verify if it was correct or not. Thus far, they have not been able to verify the action is incorrect.

after 7 years I’ve lost my account and 90 EU!! this is unfair.

Vrak isn’t a GM, nor will he talk about this account action with you. If you want to appeal it, you’d need to do it in the ticket system.

File another apeal and maybe ask for a deepmdive review they sometimes do that.

If they said it’s final, then it’s final. Coming to the US forums won’t change what they found. And base on what Vrak said, nothing can be done.
