Hello, I’m trying to get in contact with a human in any way possible. 2 of my accounts were permanently banned today at the same time for cheating, but I have never cheated. Please review my case. Update. I hope this never happens to anyone of you attacking me personally for being fraudulently banned. I posted video proof of multiple instances of people abusing the “autoban” system. It is clearly a thing. The post was flagged and I was silenced. So good job guys. One can find a dozen videos with one simple YouTube search of mass reports and player accounts just disappearing.
All you can do is submit an appeal. Your appeal with be looked at by a Blizzard GM. Any subsequent appeals will be examined by a different Blizzard GM. There are no GMs on the Forums.
If you would like to submit an appeal, please visit our Account Restrictions page. This page will have details on restrictions (including when those restrictions expire (and how to appeal, if applicable) that are active on a Battle.net Account. We also send penalty details to the email address associated with the Battle.net Account.
Thanks, I submitted that. Is there really nothing else I can do? Ive read that people never get a response.
Oh, you’ll get a response, may not be the one you are hoping for.
Just for the record, you can have up to eight licenses on a single Battlenet, no need to split them up among emails.
I digress. Our systems picked up something. No, I don’t know what, nor would I be at liberty to disclose what it was if I knew. Automation of any kind is not allowed in our games.
Your current appeal is 53 minutes old, it may take some time to get an answer.
Part of the problem with believing anything Reddit says about blizzard CS is that people have figured out that lying for upvotes works there.
Okay.. I don’t automate anything. And I usually have all 4 accounts open at the same time but only two were banned. So an actual human will review it? A guild mate just confirmed that he had the same thing happen and it took him over a month to get a human response to reinstate his account.
Blizzard doesn’t hire Hyena’s to review every account action by people who have been suspended or banned, so obviously the answer is yes, will be reviewed by humans.
Once reviewed, will come back with an answer in form of a templated response with either, upheld, upheld with reduce time on the action, or overturned with an apology.
I would not trust everything people always say.
Looks like a new wave just went out, I’m guessin’ there’s gonna be a deluge of these posts over the next few days.
Well its not just him saying it. Just since this happened I’ve found numerous other testimonies as well as streamer videos about this happening to them and having to appeal multiple times to “get a human”. I really hope this isnt the case. Update. This forum is full of people who are clearly blind to the truth. I posted video proof and it was taken down and my account was silenced. Good job guys.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year ![]()
The streamer is lying blizzard only automates the squelch every penalty every ticket is handled 100% by real peopl blizzard doesnt use AI or bots for apeals or investigation.
All appeals are reviewed by humans. They are not robots, they are not AI. Sorry, but do not trust anything anyone else would say.
Remember what we established earlier about reddit ‘testimonials’. Being generous to them, it’s a selectively edited, highly biased telling of what went down, coupled with a lot of guessing (usually from someone who’s still very upset about being told no).
As for streamers, sensational claims generate views. Their financial incentive is to stir the pot for attention/engagement. Engagement is revenue to them, so whatever gets the most is what they’ll do, even if it’s lies.
That video does not prove anything except for more information being false.
You’ve already been told several times over in this thread alone that it is all humans. And this forum is really the only place that you’re getting legitimate and verified information. Streamers, posters in other forums, it’s usually a bunch of half-truths and hyperbole - here, we have our SFAs keeping an eye on things, as well as people who have been around this forum for several years who know a lot more than the general player.
What people especially call “bot” replies are the templated responses that they send out once an appeal has concluded. That isn’t a bot, it’s a real live person manually sending out that template. No, they don’t use templates as a form of AI or anything, it is to keep the information going out uniform. Nothing more, nothing less.
If it was AI answering tickets, you would already have an answer. Which would be “Ban Upheld” and you wouldn’t be able to appeal.
Multiboxing itself isn’t against the EULA last I checked. What is is using anything at all to streamline it. You can only manually click to different windows or alt+tab, and absolutely no input mirroring of any type.
No it is, please don’t spread misinfomation. Using softwear is the issue, not mulitboxing itself. Streamingline in any form is against the rules.
People talk about their account actions on Reddit instead of here because they can give a one-sided account of what happened without an actual Blizzard employee popping by to clarify what actually happened.
SAME !!! What is going on? Please help us ! Thank you
