I question if they even play the game tbh, or if they’re part of the wave of people who just love bashing things online.

If you read the ones complaining about the motion sickness, they aren’t bashing. They actually want to play, and many have actually mentioned how much they have loved the expansion except the headaches caused by dragon riding. They are concerned that the dragon riding is so tied into the progress of the expansion that without they can’t move forward. Like with past expansions when flying was unlocked you still could do everything with a ground mount if you wanted. There’s concern that important progression points are inaccessible by ground.
I haven’t seen anyone who have stated this concern (with DR and motion sickness) request DR be removed. They are just asking for alternatives either to make sure all important progression points are accessible by ground, alternative options to get to those points (mini FP or whistle), eventually allow regular flying, alternative with speed or graphics to help with the motion sickness, etc.
This is 100% different from those complaining about dragon riding is too hard or difficult. It is a new mechanic for many, and it’s very limited and weak out of the gate (as it should be). Many players just came into the expansion being able to one shot a lot of things, and this is taking a bit of skill and practice, which is knocking them down a peg or two bruising some egos.

I play mostly mmoRPGs. When it’s not WoW, I will go back to EQ (p99 as I don’t like current EQ), CoH or SWTOR. I did spend some time in FFXIV too.
I haven’t played twitch style arcade games since the 80s. Diablo 1 & 2 were ok but not deep enough.
I prefer my games to be computer style rigs and not console type arcady games and dragon riding to me is too arcady.
Adding this to WoW would be like asking fps shooters to have long rag type conversations and have to type in replies in the middle of battles or gain rep in every battle before they can upgrade weapons.
Why is accessibility even a thing? just a waste of resources for the yet AGAIN 1% minority.

Get rid of all the stupid gimmicks/dragon riding, etc, because there was nothing wrong with the game pre Wod! Good start was them going away from borrowed power bs for the most part that we have had the past 6 years. Only to add another gimmick with df.

I don’t see why having two kinds of flying is any more confusing than the current mix of you can fly here for gold, you can’t fly here at all, you can fly here with an achievement, you can fly here but with a different achievement, etc.

No, just the same people will make a post about a gay couple NPC quest and how woke the game is, thencomplain about flying and yell accessibility . Just pointing out the hypocrisy of these forums.
Solidly add me to the “I don’t want to learn” pile, because I never should have to in the first place. It’s another gimmick system tied to the expansion, that, like garrisons, artifacts, azerite, and covenants, never needed to be added to the game at all. Blizzard is obsessed with adding gimmicks because they can’t be bothered (or else know that they’re no longer competent to) just write a good story and make fun quests/dungeons/raids. Their obsession with making new systems to break what was already working so they can ‘fix’ it with throwaway trash need to be drowned in a pool of hot boiling dog ####.

No they aren’t. You are just annoyed by both. But good news for you, threads can be muted.
This is probably more like beta for a revamp of the mount system to be like GW2’s 10 mount families.
It’s not about that it’s just a badly-designed system. It’s a downgrade from the flying we’ve had and we’re used to since Burning Crusade. Flight until now was a convenient way to travel. This is inconvenient in every way possible.
As I add posters who complain about gay couples to my ignore list, I’d expect there to be more blocked posts in these motion sickness/accessibility threads if those same people were participating in the discussion…but there aren’t.
Surely they’ll follow through with this one. Not like the capes, rings, artifact weapons, crucible, azerite gear, essences, islands, warfronts, garrison, mount equipment, heritage armor and everything else they’ve abandoned.

They moved on from order halls and garrisons and horrific visions and island expeditions and war fronts and so on and so on. That’s the problem with WoW - they wipe everything away and start again instead of iterating and improving.

Well…, yes, I’m very annoyed by people complaining about lgbtq representation. But I highkey love their tears as they cry after seeing a gay couple. Asking me to mute them? You must be one of them.
No the one that keeps spamming the forums is the t-crew alts.
And what’s annoying about that is that it’s spam. Not the subject matter. I’m not annoyed at people asking for LGBTQ rep. But that poster started spamming that to create issues between the LGBT part of the community and everyone else.
Just report, mute and move on.
Reporting me for saying that Dragonflying is good and you just don’t like change only makes me stronger.
Falls into my definition of poorly designed and not worth my time.
