A simple void elf request

RP tools shouldn’t be taken so far as to full copy the BE visual theme.

This was actually a spot on way of explaining it for those who seem to want to continue shrugging their shoulders like “omg how does it effect Blood Elves”.

Something tells me he don’t care, he just wants his discount HE. It’s sad he wants to ruin VE’s to do it.

Your delusion, not ours.
Wanting to expand the customization for void elves both in your strictly void sense as well as neutral hair colors does not ruin anything, no one is trying to take away your ability to live out your fantasy.

And I’m sorry if your fantasy revolves around limiting what other people’s hair colors are…

It is very much yours.

First it was skin colors, next will be hairstyles, then it will be racial appearance. And that is if you don’t request a rename and retconing of void elves.

It always starts with hairstyles these days.

You want VE to look like HE not VE, your not asking for VE customization.

Nothing natural about void elves. (I should trade mark this)

I am sorry your fantasy is to transform a race with a legitimate Fandom that grown for years into a entirely different race/faction then what it is.

This has already been discussed, it waters down the VE race and invades BE appearances.

The constant post separating you do is discouraging and just makes things look out of context. I get that you’re trying to respond to different sections, but you’re basically changing the context by doing so, I’m not sure if this is on purpose.

Anyways, you believe your fandom is superior to others, which is why I say:

This watering down/ruining shenanigans that you’re being dramatic about is your delusion.

I’m sure there are many void elf fans that want neutral hair, that doesn’t mean they’re trying to ruin anything for you, you’re free to continue using options that you deem appropriate to your delusions without limiting other people or making them seem like “less of a fan” than you are.

Especially, especially over hair color.

I am a huge night elf fan, do I think the ginger or flashy pink hair is appropriate to my own personal night elf fantasy? NO.
But I acknowledge that some fans probably do, and don’t put my fandom above theirs or think they’re somehow ruining muh race by sporting their preferred hair color.

Exactly. I don’t think anyone is requesting the REMOVAL of Void Themes or advocating against further Void themes. Speaking for myself anyway, i’m not. There’s even some extra void customizations i think could be cool. Specifically eyes. There’s not really any good “Voidish” eyes. Like a radiating purplish type of eye color i’ve thought would be cool. And ethereal bandages would be an interesting aesthetic.

Aside from that though, it’s like people can’t be a fan of BOTH aesthetics. Or a hybrid of them. What if someone wants to be a High/Void elf with Void Eyes and Blonde hair? There’s so many interesting combinations you could have. Either going for the Full High Elf or Void Elf look. Or some hybrid mix of those options. There’s no reason to limit that.

By trying to push in front of them it is a disservice.

How much time do you think Blizzard is going to spend on VEs? You just think VEs get to have the best of both worlds with Blizzards commitment to tons and tons and tons of new customizations? Is that it? Why should you be appeased again instead of VE fans now? Because arguably VE fan requests aren’t also stepping on the toes of the BE visual fantasy, so it’s two fan groups that can be done right by Blizzard by leaving this 10% of distinction alone and moving on to Void options.

First you and every other person on the pro side are here just as much as the people on the anti side.

Second you have caused and cause drama as I said yesterday the third most of people I have seen on the pro side.

Third you have more posts than me and a lot of others that are in most of these threads so who’s the one that really needs these threads to complain about what they don’t or didn’t get?

Yeah. The, “only void options” not only ignores what a lot of void elf players really want for customization, but if you applied that logic to other races it would be like, “You can’t have Dark Rangers because they’re not a Blood Elf customization.”

People are going to ask to look like what they want to play.

Even some of the darkish skin colors and blonde hair would be interesting.

Who are you to say that Void Elf fans exclusively want Void customization.

That’s not only a flat out lie, but a delusion from your side.

Seeing as most Void elf customization threads are not created by High Elf fans and always boil down to “Void elves have stupid hairstyles and 0 color diversity and i would like to see more please”, rather than “I want my void elf to look like a 3rd grade arts and craft project.”.

I’d say Void elf fans are asking for the customization they want to see, the truth is your side doesn’t like that.

You’re literally not tricking anyone anymore Lann, your first gripe was the fact that Blood Elves didn’t get enough customization, which is correct, and you stuck to that till you randomly switched to “supporting” Void Elves request in a backwards way that feeds into your anti agenda.

All that tells me is that your presence here is disingenuous and your support for “Void” customization is strictly so that Void Elves don’t get regular styles and colors because you believe you’re owed exclusivity to an aesthetic. :man_shrugging:

Repeating myself for 1000th time is discouraging.

Oh no it is in context. And no it is not taking it out of context.
No one us saying that, what people us saying is that they would respect the HE community to please stop trying to make VE’s turn into discount HE’s.
This watering down/ruining shenanigans that you’re being dramatic about is your delusion.
this is an incorrect statement, and the dissent of the idea of anything natural going to the list unnatural playable race in the game us shown in this thread in the past few 100 posts.

This us an incorrect statement, the only people pushing natural hair on VE is HE fans looking for a easy way to get HE without actually putting in the effort to come up with original ideas and concepts.

This is what thus thread is created for no? If this isn’t so important you wouldn’t be asking and harassing the community so hard…

Night elves has nothing to do with void elves, thus is especially true when you know night elves is NOT transformed by a void race changing to ethereal ritual.

1st. Your the biggest HE advocate here to change VE to HE’s

2nd you guys us asking to water down the appearance and indirectly story of the void elves.

this is a falsehood.

I’d say the majority of Void Elves I see are using non-void fleshtones and non-tentacle hairstyles.

Their appearance was already watered down with regular skin tones AND blue eyes my guys.

They also have 0, story to tell, they we’re high elves who turned to blood elves who turned to blue blood elves, stop pretending they’re a fascinating race with a storied past.

Incorrect.

The vast majority of Void elf customization requests from void elf players or void elf fans are for hair styles and colors for void elves (because that’s the thing they’re seriously lacking), there’s pop up threads on them constantly, you should know, you and the pretty boy and the corpse haunt them constantly.

What you don’t see is constant pop up threads of people asking to see void elves turn into walking tentacles.

With how much of a devoted fan to Void customization for Void elves you are, I’m shocked your void elf has token high elf features, instead of the darkest shade of blue and the most purple eyes Void Elves have, but I’m sure you’ll tell me regular skin tones and blue eyes are not token high elf features.

Delusion ≠ Credibility

Your repeated use of “thus” instead of “this” and “us” instead of “is” is hurting my eyes. Is this intentional for some reason?

That’s because almost no one wanted Void Elves, and a very large number of people wanted High Elves. The vocal community on the forums who wanted High Elves weren’t magically alone in their desires, they were just the ones who knew where to go and thought asking for it would do something.

People really act like it’s only 10 people who wanted High Elves. Most people I know in game, and have had the conversation with over the years, have expressed a desire to play High Elves but don’t consider it important enough to go to the forums/twitter/support.

Funny this is, even with non-void appearances you still have the void theme with their racials and enter void form during combat just like Alleria. This whole “you lose your identity with non-void customization” is a complete lie. Additionally, Void Elves ARE High Elves. They have just as much right to "high elf’ customization as Blood Elves do.

For me, I love void elves. I’ve loved the idea of them since TBC when they were hinted at. But they have control, which gives them the right to dampen how the void influences them at times just like Alleria. It has nothing to do with a different method, it has nothing to do with “it’s just for rp”. Both of those arguments are completely made up, and misunderstanding what blizzard themselves have said.

Yeah. Any Alliance player I’ve ever known personally has been for them.

But I don’t think anyone wants to come here and talk about it because of the constant trolling. :frowning:
