I just want a proper moment where night elves actually get some justice for Teldrassil. I doubt we’ll even get the satisfaction of a sylvanas kill though.
None… the poor playable model looks plain depressed, Garrosh on the other hand looks like his usual “I´m trying to contain my angry self and I will explode at some point” self.
Plain jewerly can´t properly captivate the inner self of the character… see why jewerly Is often a meaningless media to justify “cultural relevancy”?
I´m 100% in favor of this… what I will never condone is scenarios in which the whole Horde has to beg and pray on their beaten knees for who knows how long to be “forgiven” to their Nelf overlords.
This too. The writers of this game are too busy deviating the gameplay mandated story beats in favor of their pets characters alone to actually devote time to create new stories.
I mean Sylvanas story regarding Arthas et al ended up being ANOTHER Anduin tale, omg.
Yeah, but because of that, it’s frustrating to be a nelf fan. Our home gets torched, with the majority of the innocents inside. Then we get several cinematics about how sad Saurfang is.
Then the blame is placed solely on sylvanas and not the rest of the people who helped her. Now it’s looking like she’ll once again escape the consequences of her actions.
Meanwhile every alliance npc, including other nelfs are acting like Tyrande is out of line. I can see why nelf fans are frustrated, even if I don’t want to genocide the horde in response or anything.
This game is largely rehashed content and storylines, at this point that shouldn’t be shocking to anyone like shocking unless they are a super new player.
Copy/paste is probably how they write stories like they add customizations, then change a few words and names here and bam we have new content/storylines. Haha.
I’m not saying I like Blizzards story writing, actually I haven’t for quite some time but the forever victim complex about everything written since is a little weird to me.
I hated it from the horde side too. No one objecting really until way after, and not even really objecting, just mentioning there was some division over it without them really showing it.
I agree with you 100% here, even as a Horde at heart I hated that storyline, I hated how it was written, I hated how supposedly no one had any issues with it until way after and I really hated that I had to pretend like I didn’t care for supposed immersion purposes until they added the whole you can choose not to be on her side questline because ugh.
To be fair, is not like the fanbases of any race that aren’t humans have much of a reason to be happy with Blizzard.
Cries in gutterspeak
To be honest, it felt pretty good to momentarily go for a bright red and golden mog while interacting with the giant smurfs.
Bastion’s aesthetics are really not my thing, each time I have to go back to Sinfall with my mage, or to the Seat of the Primus on my Dk, I tell my guildie " we go back home?".
I played horde more than alliance before BFA. I had such a hard time playing my horde characters, because none of them would have gone along with sylvanas after she burned Teldrassil. Heck, most of them would have been very wary about her being warchief even before that.
I’m sorry to hear that because that’s terrible that storylines can literally make you feel that awful about playing a faction.
However, I hadn’t ever played Alliance until BFA one because I didn’t like any of the races a lot and two because I had no interest but I started after I didn’t like that storyline for like an escape from Horde side at times when I didn’t want to be consider “evil” so I totally get you.
