I don’t think Void Elves will be getting Blood Elf hair colors or hair styles any time soon if ever because it’d be extremely harmful to Blood Elves.
Being vocal against the anti-belffers definitely helps let Blizzard know that more than six people and their army of anti-belffer alts that care about Blood Elves more than bland elves whose fandom is trying to destroy us and hijack Void Elves.
It’s someone who hates Blood Elves, usually because they were added to the Horde instead of bland high elves being added to the alliance.
Anti-belffers support the total destruction of the Blood Elf identity by stealing everything Blood Elves have and giving it to Void Elves thus destroying Void Elves in the process.
They usually post on low level sock puppets, and sometimes blood elf alts, changing frequently to try and gaslighting people into thinking that there’s more people supporting their movement than there actually is and trying to gaslight people into thinking there’s bifactional support when there actually isn’t.
That sounds pretty messed up. (About the people doing that.) And people really put effort into doing that garbage? Thats so much wasted energy, energy that those people could use for positive things. Baffles my mind.
They consider themselves positive from their own perspective.
They also look down their noses at anyone who doesn’t support their forced sharing as immature and lesser than them.
If I had a dollar for every time they whine about people disagreeing with them and say we should just request more Blood Elf customizations instead of disagreeing I’d have a couple months game time.
The windrunner sisters are a good example of really bad wow writing. They’re bland, shallow, and are basically intended to be waifus to generic blank slate male human characters so players can have their elf waifu fantasies.
Comparing anything to the Cringerunner sisters is a slap in the face to the writer.
It’s interesting how giving Void Elves hair options from Night Elves or Humans somehow “Steals from Blood Elves” even though it’s not taking their existing options. It is taking from fellow Alliance races. Void Elves already have some non-tendril hair styles. Problem is there’s not really any variety amongst them especially for the males. It’s all “edgelord” style hair. Nothing that really fits a typical Elven look. Which btw Void Elves still are. They aren’t K’thir or Faceless ones etc. They’re Elves that harness Void Magic.
I think some of the typical Night Elf long hair options would fit them well. Even some human ones perhaps.
I haven’t been playing since BFA because of RL stuff. I do plan on coming back soon.
I’m not supporting natural hair colors, but darker, much darker versions of them with something void tainted in them. Take my red hair but a much darker version with, purple void effects. The void stays in the hair, gotta look mutated by the void some how. They lost there naturality when playing with void. That is also why I said it was a thrown together without much thought, void tatoos could of been added.
That will be probably true this expansion, I’ll be busy setting up my main for raid. It was difficult enough in BFA to play alts.
That is strange. You are posting as if you were responding to me, yet, you didn’t… I wonder why is that
No you don’t.
You don’t desperately jump through hoops to try to prove they’ve not really changed despite of the several evidences that says they did and try to erase the independency of a race you care about.
You would want it to thrive and be developed both lore and aesthetically. Instead, you just want to turn them into a copy of an iconic Horde race while pretending they’re still the same.
If you did care, wanting to ruin their individualism it’s a very, very strange way to show it.
Although I don’t entirely agree with your point of view, I do think it makes sense.
Apart from natural hair colors, I support much darker hair colors as well. Heck, Void Elf NPCs have black hair and playable characters don’t
I like your idea of hairstyles with “void effects” - I’m not sure if it was you or someone else here who suggested void highlights. Those are options I’d definitely would love to see implemented additionally, yeah. My VE Warlock would look so terrifying and attractive at the same time.
It’s really not necessary to keep making assumptions about someone.
Asking for more customization options for a race is a clear example that someone does care about that race. We all want them to get more, both void and non-void.
