I honestly want to create a nightborne megathread but i’m just too lazy to type out the massive list of things that need to be changed (i.e. their whole model) and the additional new customization options that would be nice.

Void Elves need to zip it for a while. Their continual demands for blood elf customization in particular while other races are in considerably worse shape is beyond annoying. I like the idea of more void options but a little grace and empathy for others would go a long way.

Not all of us want Blood Elf options. Some of us want to keep both races unique.
That said: I do agree it would be a good thing if other races got a good going over before Void Elves were seen to again. At least in any significant way.

I’ll give it straight to you chief.
Those asking for more options don’t really care about Void Elves, they’re on a crusade to turn them into something they’re not.
Then that brought forth that customizations should instead focus on cementing and expanding on their specific identity as Void Elves.
And the latter tends to recognize that other races are in need to come first when it comes to customizations as well.

We all care about Void Elves, and asking for more non-void options doesn’t turn them into something they’re not. You keep telling yourself that lie though, but it doesn’t get you anywhere.
It’s as if you’re forgetting that YOUR side is trying to do what you’re claiming WE are. Void Elves aren’t Ethereals, and they also aren’t K’thir either. However, they ARE a “flavor of High Elf” and DO have the capacity for more non-void options. They, of course, also have the capacity for more void options, but certainly not to the extent that you’re trying to fabricate.

They literally went through a ritual… to become void ethereals. Thats how they were created. The ritual was just interrupted. Nothing wrong with some options inspired from that. (Plus its really neat)
The tentacles part is just cool and void inspired. I don’t think any of us are trying to make them K’thir.
Hell if half of you even payed attention you’d know Voidberg is an amalgamation of several of the options from my list. Much of that list I created from other void elf fans suggestions as I saw them. (Voidberg Includes claws, N’zoth/Aszhara eyes, void inspired anatomy showing up via the face tentacles and stomach mouth.)
I swear you all see face tentacles and everyone throws a fit.

I don’t really like people telling other paying customers what they can request and when they can do it (especially considering that devs themselves have reiteratively told us to publish in these forums what we’d like to see implemented in the game).
It’s perfectly fine if you disagree with us, but honestly treating us like ethically bad, egotistical players simply because we’re passionate about Void/High Elves and their potential customization options is tiresome, to say the least.

This is one of the toons I play the most, because I find it fun ganking people on battlegrounds with this race class combo. I was thinking about race changing to pandaren, but she would of been too fat for Invincibles back.
I’m not obsessed with this character, some people play elves for looks, I play some for character background. The blood elves is a tragic race and been through alot of drama and terror than all the other races.
My characters background is she has a broken family, parents dead Litch King killed them, brother became a demon didn’t know if he was dead or alive until Legion, a sister who left to study void and latter on joined the Alliance, only one sibling that remained normal and sees her hunter pets as her only true friends.
What carries on in this elf’s soul if she wasn’t killed and resurrected maybe her siblings would of lived happy lives. Estivail is the oldest of the four and feels she failed being the older sister.
Anyways I have back stories for all my toons, but not as good as this one.

Honestly if they’ve shelved customization and it’s all a waste of time then why sit around repetitively saying it?

mine is ex silver covenant. but originally she was a sin’dorei magister type. when sylvanas showed up in silvermoon and demanded we send sin’dorei rangers and magi, as well as the blood knights to support the horde campaign in northrend, i was disgusted at the thought of fighting along side trolls and orcs. it was one thing to accept their help with reclaiming our kingdom and dealing with kaelthas’ betrayal but this was different
thankfully the kirin tor also had a similar request. at first i was determined to join aethas and the sunreaver community he had established. but when they welcomed other horde races into our district, i heard vereesa windrunner putting out a call for other like minded elves who disliked this relationship. i rallied under her banner and was one of the founding SC members. also reverting back to identifying as a high elf to make things much easier in a city where humans are the vast majority
i reluctantly participated in the purge as if i did not participate i would likely be forced out of dalaran as well. never really cared for the faction war so i enjoyed the peace that came with neutrality
after legion there were so few of us left. i was already one of the 9 mages that had joined over the years. now we were 3. seeing there was little left in a life confined to dalaran and that the horde might be changing its ways by abolishing a warchief, i decided to rejoin my people. i was surprised no one realized i was ex SC and easily reintegrated back into quel’thalas and now serve as a magister under rommath once again

If you really liked Blood Elves you wouldn’t be actively trying to destroy them by supporting the anti-blood elf agenda.
Because people are having trouble comprehending.

Okay, so you’re wrong. Taking everything Blood Elves have and giving it to void elves is totally an anti-Blood Elf agenda, and a supermassive destructive one, but if it helps you sleep at night to delude yourself into ‘thinking’ other things then you do you .

I too can post on low level low post alts to try and gaslight people into thinking my opinions are more popular than they actually are.
Given that I have 90+ alts I can do it better.
The dangerous anti-Blood Elf agenda has to go.

I do think Void Elves will be getting more options but its going to take a while. The community being vocal about it helps. I think we’ll see some natural hair color options possibly for the preexisting hair choices. What I wouldn’t give to have the Controlled hair option in black and red! My personal hope is for some jewelry like blood elves have, but I highly doubt we’ll get that.
