A simple solution to the vote kick issue

But they didn’t do it. Why? Because the data they have said it’s not a problem.

Expanding the debuff was a solution to a problem they saw.
M+ leaver bans was a solution to a problem they saw.

There is no problem with vote to kick or deserter debuff for kicked players that requires a solution.

Prove it. They didn’t comment on this part. And this also assumes that Blizzard is on top of every issue in the game which it is clearly not.

I disagree.

The forums were reseted in 2018 for a new forum discourse format, reason why you can’t find anything past that time.

Exactly. They’re not going to comment on or spend resources on a solution for something they don’t see as a problem.

At a time when you and others claim voting to kick and the debuff are a huge problem and need to be minimized or removed, Blizzard is actually expanding the debuff instead.

But they are on top of M+ leavers and expanding the deserter debuff, which are adjacent if not adjoined to vote to kick and debuff for kicked people. So…

All of this seems speculative and not very compelling

Actually, tell you what. The burden of proof here is on you to prove that this is a problem that needs a change.

So go ahead and start proving.

I wonder if the wayback machine would work with the older forums?

Again, I don’t agree

Don’t agree with what?

That

That is your opinion, which I do not share.

Lol

It’s not an opinion, that’s how this works. You are making a claim against the status quo, it is on you to prove that your claim has merit.

The issue with this is that… one is based in reality, whereas the other disagrees with said reality. This is why I said it is a “non sequitur” because with how it works, it literally cannot be abused. You either democratically kick a player, or you don’t. The group determines whether a player is wanted as part of the group or not.

There’s conspiracy theorists who believe we live on a flat pancake and then there’s people who live in reality. That doesn’t mean that there’s any “sides” to a conversation of what shape the Earth is. Some nuances can be discussed (size, proper categorization, terminology, composition, age, etc.) but said discussion is rooted in reality and measuring reality.

This thread doesn’t have that, because it isn’t rooted in reality. There simply isn’t a “vote kick issue”, there’s just a whole load of threads about it. Just the same way that there’s plenty of people who for one reason or another think physics isn’t real but that infinitely large pancakes are.

So no, there’s no “sides” to it. Simply just a bunch of people (usually trolls) who claim there’s a problem when there isn’t one.

A valid vote kick is when 3+ members of a 5 person party votes to kick someone end of story.

If you are constantly being vote kicked you are in fact the problem not the other 4 players.

OP and others in here literally saying it’s uncommon, yet here we still are… over 700 posts later…

My cat has one of those! lol

Over 700?

Huh guess ignored players don’t go towards the count. /shrug

but yes, that toy for the kitty is cute. I got a couple of those flopping fish toys and Harley goes bonkers for those things.

This is the cat toys I got.

Sorry but just because you’ve been granted permission to use the tool in an abusive manner does not mean that it cannot be used to abuse other players. Lol

Yes when you kick someone out of a group for absolutely nothing they’ve done wrong you are abusing that player with the tool and wasting their time over no fault of their own.
I’m sorry if you all can’t accept that fact but fact it remains…and regardless of blizzard hands off policy.

The Kick is the only area in this game where we are absolutely allowed to defy the social contract with what appears to be the blessing of the company themselves
