I’ll ask it again, since you didn’t answer earlier:
Ban everyone starting with me.
The one thing I find completely baffling is missing the idea of changing roles midway through the dungeon if someone leaves. Like…wouldn’t that be nice? Lose a tank, someone has a tank spec/set. They switch, then you requeue. The system as it stands now doesn’t allow for a role check again, but it sure would be nice if it did/could.
As for the VtK system, … shrugs I could take it or leave it. I hate getting deserter debuffs, though, too, when your group falls apart, but you’re the third person to leave and you still get the debuff. sighs It sucks.
Part of the reason why the VtK system came about is that some people would put together groups and then be a dick to people the whole time. And there was no way to remove them. Or…they’d put together a group, say they needed to afk a moment, and then be gone for like…well over 30 minutes with no way to remove them other than everyone having to leave the group.
In the long run, I feel like an auto-generated VtK if someone is gone longer than 5 minutes seems great. It allows the players to kick someone who essentially isn’t there while still giving them five minutes to get back into the game, etc.
But other than that, I don’t really have a horse in the game. I don’t mind VtK; I mind the debuff associated with leaving groups (though that happens so rarely that I don’t really mind it that much). And I’d love the ability to change roles in a dungeon if someone leaves.
That’s about it.

Scan words and activity as well as if the person tried to kick other people recently
Or don’t do that since they may or may not want checks
Also parties should and shouldn’t be put at the front of the que if they kick someone

and thats my bad…I really couldnt tell if you were baiting me before or sincerely asking…its hard to catch tone in here and since moderation takes great offense at emojis now, its not a good idea to use them to try to indicate if we’re using sarcasm or humor or whatever to make it a bit clearer what we’re trying to convey in here. lol

It doesn’t even have to be auto-generated. Just vote requirements to 1 once someone’s been flagged as AFK for long enough.
