A (Scarlet) Crusade Upon Gilneas

The Scarlet hierarchy that survived the onslaught upon Fenris Isle gathered in the cold halls of
the Alterac Mountains where their Grand Crusader’s duchy resided and was decently protected from the elements as much as they were the enemies that were amassed and many.
A plethora of Crimson Legion tabard bearing Scarlets were assembled like a crowd that
thronged and flocked together in the Wolfheart Keep’s interior at the barracks.

All who were speaking went silent to let their liege speak; Grand Crusader Wolfheart.
“It has come to our attention the half-breeds have neglected our calls to peace and unison…” he said as he sat at the head of the table where those were gathered and smashed a plate gauntlet covered right hand, balled up in a fist, upon the table to emphasize his point.

“The Worgen the Scarlet Brotherhood wanted to use to take back Lordaeron have backstabbed us, not harkening to our messages when we came in peace… thus, we must speak the language these foul knaves understand: war.”

The human leaders exchanged brief glances but shifted their attention back upon Crusader
Wolfheart.

“Fenris Isle was a mere setback and a slap in the face. But upon Calia Menethil’s ashes and the
vanquishing of the Worgen curse, we will RETURN THE LAST TRUE MENETHIL TO THE
LORDAERONIAN THRONE!” he screamed with fervor and zeal.

Such words had been spoken not much long before merely moments before being repulsed
from the Scarlet Siege of the Capital City and Scarlet Commander Frosythe was slew by Lillian
Voss.

“Frosythe’s death was not in vain,” the Alteraci swore with assurance. “It was merely the path to redemption that we must all take.

“… Perhaps it was not our time to take back Lordaeron because, instead, we were meant to take the fight to the traitorous turncoats that tucked tail and built a wall to hide from the Scourge!”

The gathered host seemed to take that to heart.

“Tonight, upon the remembrance of our fallen comrades and patriots, the Human Race will
return to SUPREMACY IN THE NORTHLANDS!”

The congregation cheered at that.

“If the savages do not want to broker an alliance, then we must TAKE IT UPON OURSELVES
TO TAKE BACK GILNEAS! Not for the Worgen, Goldrinn cursed mongrels… but for the HUMAN
RACE AND THE GLORY OF THE SCARLET CRUSADE!”

This seemed to rally the hearts and stir the souls of those gathered.

“I call upon a CRUSADE IN GILNEAS… and I swear to you WE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL WE
HAVE HUNTED EVERY WORGEN, EVERY FORSAKEN, AND EVERY THREAT IN GILNEAS
AND REPULSED THEM BACK TO THE TWISTING NETHER THAT THEY SPAWNED FROM!
We will take Gilneas City and ALL of the surrounding lands… and rename this city to Scarlet
City. Here we will appoint the last true Menethil that the Scarlet Brotherhood harbors and
LORDAERON’S CONQUEST WILL BE NEXT!”

This got everyone cheering with zeal and ecstasy as the ambience became heavy with the
weight of ambition and the arcid taste of victory that would soon overpower the lingering sting and disgusting stench of the defeat to Lillian Voss and their rightful Queen of Lordaeron at Fenris Isle and their siege upon Capital City.

“We did the IMPOSSIBLE: we BESIEGED -the- Capital City and Sylvanas quaked in her boots!
When we take Gilneas City now, NOTHING WILL STAND IN OUR WAY!”
A Scarlet Courier obediently came up to the Grand Crusader.
“I call upon a Scarlet Crusade in Gilneas for every true adherent of the Flame that has not
forgotten the Way. We must unite and reclaim Gilneas City and the surrounding lands where we will be most strong and there are many impenetrable locations that Sylvanas and her New
Scourge wouldn’t dare to take!

… We won’t have to worry about Genn Greymane because his kind are never coming back to
Gilneas.”

((Only they will!))
