A really really long awkward drawn out sad goodbye to the twink community

But even just getting into a battleground in the 19 bracket is near impossible. Not that phasing is a problem with battlegrounds, but hardly anyone twinks 19 anymore, especially since we can’t even turn on war mode to do open world pvp.

I was sad with the announcement that 8.2 was gonna cripple islands and Freehold twinks.

I had just spent the time actually doing stuff on my DH and giving him a full blue Harmonious set from my LW to farm Freehold for fat stacks. Seems like every time I try to do something Blizzard notices it.

You should try to make classes bad (not that you have to try) so that blizzard notices and fixes them

Someone make Greater Pyro bad so that fire mages can get a legit PVP kit that doesn’t rely on a slow cast on a fast paced class.

10-19 lvl (xpon) is great for throwaway toons.
Can go from new char to battlegrounds in maybe just over an hour and with nice enchants on heirlooms be wrecking it.
Hit 20, pass heirlooms to new character, rinse repeat

Yeah because of the “Non Exploit” that we proved was an exploit. Funny how everything you’ve lobbied for in the twink debate has been proven wrong. Ahh well until the next crusade

First off, it was funny to see posts complaining about queue times after twinks were removed from the queues. I guess the change doesnt “feel so good” to some levelers that can’t deal with 15 min queue times. 3+ hours in queue and still no bg as a twink btw.

Second, I prefer to call the bug to get into a bg as a twink a bug. We simply exploited the bug.

Queues are beautiful tonite. Horde has queue time problems. Alliance don’t.

Ah, I wouldn’t know. Not even an average queue time as a twink. Bgs just dont even pop… and they said we were complaining about not being able to kill non-twinks rather than the queue times…

Twinks will never get anything from Blizz. That is a fact and it’s been like that since Vanilla. People on the forums come on here, and debate back and fore for a lost cause. Having been a twink way back I knew the disappointment of being separated, but you move on from it.

Well twinks did get something… they got the exp npc, so that’s something. It’s just a shame that Blizzard is in such a mindset of setting paths for the player to follow now. They used to let players do what they want, rather than saying what they have to do. Twinking unfortunately isn’t on the list of paths.
