A New Playable (Skaven-Like) Race: Rat-Folk

I genuinely can’t tell if you’re trolling or if your brain actually functions like this.

After knowing way too many folks, it’s usually the latter, and getting them to come around is…like herding cats. Or flies.

Skaven are my favorite race in Warhammer fantasy. It’s also fun justifying to chaos players that the horned rat is a chaos god :joy:

I prefer Warhammer 40k more though. Orks is what I play and love. Warhammer will always have the best versions of orks in any movie, show, video games, etc

You always come into my threads casting personal insults against me. Instead of discussing the topic. So your entire agenda in this forum is to insult and instigate. What does that say about you.

Isn’t the ork gods gork and mork also basically chaos gods? Or is that 40k?

Hard to tell the difference sometimes lol.

That said

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKILL THRONE!

:stuck_out_tongue:

Stop making threads that make me want to insult you lol

Even if the lore and setting don’t matter to you, that’s not an excuse to just throw random things in other things like you’re a toddler mashing your action figures together. It’s a stupid request, so I’ll call it such :dracthyr_shrug:

Hearthstone Virmen would work great.

Lorewise they could just say that they had dug deeper than the more primitive ones we encountered in pandaria.

This game is enough of a rat race without adding an actual rat race.
Alright, I’ll see myself out.

There you have it folks This person has a controlling personality. And a full admission of intent and guilt. This is just plain stalking behavior.

Rats, rats, big hairy rats running all over the place. Oh my! Nasty, dirty rats that eat humans! Oh icky!. Cool I’m in.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is in the works. Should release soon I hope.

Which brings me around to wondering why Blizz never made a World of Spacecraft mmorpg?

Im pretty sure space marine 2 is coming out around September.

Edit: yep sept 9th.

They are Foxmens in the WoW Universe (Vulpera)

The Vulpera are one of my favorite races in Wow. Although they are actually not only cute, pretty. But also a good race.

The Rat-folk would be the exact opposite of that.

Yep. But those Mole People are even more goofy looking then the Wows Kobolds. And what I mean by that is they look harmless. Not on the same pinnacle of evil as the fearsome Skaven.

For those that don’t know about Skaven. I would suggest that you do a quick google search: just type in “Skaven” And you will see what these critters are about. You might want to also hit Images to see what they look like.

Also, although The Skaven over the years became associated as a product of Game Workshop. And a version of these critters were in Everquest as well as Dungeons and dragons where they were simple called Ratfolk.

Note: the name of these Ratfolk; “Skaven” has essentially become a common use generalized name across fantasy and gaming lore.

I truly believe that Ratfolk would benefit variety in Wow in the form of a true Evil Race for players to at least role-play as.

Rat people in wow I think would be cool. I remember them from DnD.

That doesn’t seem be talking about the new bipedal ones we’ve seen, those strictly look like they were made to be playable.

Idk why else they’d need a more “human” nerubian model.

They specifically talk about “too many limbs” yet the new bipedal ones don’t look like an issue lol. They could just turn off arm transmog like they did with Mechagnomes if it’s too much of an issue, and with Dracthyr.

Maybe they aren’t Nerubians anymore, once they have changed, idk. Will have to wait and see.

The Skaven-equivalent race in WoW (since Skaven are from Warhammer, specifically) are Kobolds, and they’re all over the War Within content.

Hope that helps.
