Once SHGY is taken, it requires a major Horde screw-up to lose at that point. After the 5 minute run from the cave, alliance canât get past IWB choke point. This is not problem at IBGY and the Horde spawn right beside IBGY anyway.
Who cares av is for AFKing while in cave for your medal while you cook, its such a joke battleground and blizz doesnât care. We are just filling their coffers on a 15 year old game, while they improve the piece of garbage they call retail

Horde quite literally get there first and will be waitingâŚmeanwhile Horde will be attacking you from behind because they get to Balinda at the same time as you. If you die, youâre stuck at SHGY getting camped by the main Horde raid (with no escape). If Horde are stupid enough to not chase down stragglers to force alliance into a turtle, then they would probably still win because their front line objectives are massively easier to defend and the main raid can just deathball into objectives 1 by 1. Its hilarious Horde are still trying to defend this mapâŚ

Why do our LTâs < Horde LTâs? you can walk right up to them and tap them on the shoulders before they aggro. Oh, and kill whoever is trying to kite them and they turn their aggro to someone 100 yards away. Letâs not even mention the archers that seem to respawn only for horde.
Currently the real issue is the amount of afkârs alliance have. The game really isnt 40v40⌠its more like 25v40. You can see it in how we move. Where as the horde will defend with 30+ people all game long.
If someone continues to say you can defend the backdoor exploit with 1 or 2 people. You will immediately be ignored.
On my 100% mount even if I rush straight to SHB I cannot get there before it is capped.

Some questionable statements here. Every mana user knows aggro/combat is dumb in AV, and Iâve seen the same weird aggro issues as you describe.
Our archers are vastly inferior to yours, and yes Alliance ones respawn.

Probably true. When you have near instant queues people are not going to be as invested as those of us who have to prevent ourselves from being automatically logged out while we wait, because of the duration of our queue.
Alliance doesnât play defensively because again the map favors horde on the attack. Our 2nd last GY is in a PIT and the horde will have all roads up to that point covered and swarm the GY from all sides when they want to take the GY which is what they do. The fact that the alliance base can be back doored makes defending the main base that much harder so instead of the 1 choke point to worry about its a whole uncovered side of a base, so again fighting a battle on 2 fronts instead of just trying to hold them off on the bridge. Compare that too the horde side where none of their GYs are in pits. their main base has only 1 point of access, and if they lose their 3rd GY they get put in their starting point which is nicely place to be half way between the 3rd and 2nd last GY on horde side, so a much shorter distance to travel to try to reclaim the 3rd last GY.
NO need to switch sides just make the map more equal. Move the alliance starting point to half way between 3rd and 2nd last gy. Put the 2nd last gy on a flat plan. Put up a wall on the side of the alliance base making the bridge the only way in and out. Watch magically as the alliance will suddenly have a more strategic defensive positions on the map.
Then move the cave back, but until the general alliance pvp player mentality changes you will continue to lose at a very high rate.

Literally every game has 90% horde in the top 20 k/d and 10 alliance are afk in the cave. You telling me thatâs because of distance to objectives? rofl
Imaging having to play a game designed by the other team, Refereeâd by the other team. A team given a huge advantage in the way the game plays.

Not saying weâre better players, Iâm saying horde actually try to win instead of whining on the forums about map balance. All Iâm saying is that even IF the map is horde favored, its not 99% horde favored.
Itâs not even worth debating anymore. Pictures, videos, maps and impossible strategies wonât convince those who donât want to listen.
As long as horde start where they start, they should own in AV. The map makes that easy. Alliance just have to decide if they want to feed the meat grinder or not. I havenât queued for AV in two weeks.

Still lot of people in game (not in forums) complaining that just once, they would like to do an AV where more than half the team was actually playing.
I get those games, i just leave, take the debuff and go do something else.
thatâs not how it works, first of all. In order to move on to IBGY, we have to fight the full horde raid at least 3 times after the initial engagement at SHGY. Thatâs if we are moving quickly. Most pug groups are chaotic and disorderly and the entire group will stop to kill one horde that is level 51.
Put your money were your mouth is, demand a map flip or this argument is pointless. Until you actually experience the map from the other side you really do not know what you are talking about. I played both sides in AV and loved AV horde side because we had so many advantages. playing with a half competent group could take on a full alliance pre-made and still making it a fight to the finish.

Most Allies i here arenât calling for a map flip but for a nerf to Horde. That itself is very telling.
If you give Horde the North point all Alliance get to realize that theyâve had the advantage the entire time and Horde wonât ever lose again. Then we would get to use the hundreds of dumb ally quotes on these forums against you for the rest of classic.

If thatâs the case then you are saying there is more alpha males than beta males?
