Video basically states “WE WANT NEW SERVERS THAT ARE FRESH” within first few seconds.
Comments “I DON’T WANT TO LOSE MY PROGRESS REEE”
Really highlights the intelligence level or attention span of this community. Maybe my parents were onto something when they said video games rot your brain.
My favourite part of stepping into my new fresh TBC server is that I will never have to share my server with a person who argued against fresh servers for no reason.
I feel like a server full of people who are “in it for the adventure” will definitely have a better community
0:20: “Why does the community want fresh servers for TBC Classic?”
“Before you get your knickers in a twist I am not saying that the current tier Classic WoW servers should be totally deleted and wiped or just kept as they are and not progressing to TBC. Those servers should progress into TBC. There should be continued servers but what the community wants is a couple of fresh servers per region. Well you may be thinking nobody I’ve talked to wants fresh servers-”

Now I’m starting to think you’re speaking of a different video.
Keep in mind someone JUST posted a video by yours and this thread is nearing 1,200 posts. I am assuming you mean the one posted at the top. If so, please reference it as it makes your comment more coherent.
Edit: One at top isn’t giving me anything either.
What is the name of the video you’re commenting on?
Imagine a community where people don’t want to boost or be boosted who actually ENJOY PLAYING THE GAME and the adventure of leveling and actually EARNING your rewards in game.
While I don’t believe in feeding trolls, I will respond this one time.
You only know one response, using a fallacy of quoting out of context. For reasons I do not know you are incapable (or unwilling) to actually be able to follow a complete and congruous train of thought. Instead you break down what people write into small bite-sized chunks, taking them completely out of context, and respond to those. While it may not be intentional trolling, it also defeats the purpose of a debate and is considered a logical fallacy.
In case you haven’t noticed, it also tends to anger people to be taken out of context and responded to.
No, I do not. I respond to everything everybody says. There are times (however) where not everything needs to be addressed because they’re irrelevant to the subject matter. Like completely disregarding me merely because you have some personal grudge against me (which is fine), but it doesn’t defend your position well, either. At least I don’t bring people’s personas into the mix nor completely dismiss their arguments merely because how they got there was fallacious. The conclusion isn’t always false merely because it contains a “fallacy”.
I’d like to point out there is such a thing as “Argument from Fallacy” (Fallacy Fallacy). Just because something contains a “fallacy” doesn’t mean that the conclusions are false. While some (not all) posts contain logical fallacies, doesn’t mean their conclusions are false. Because I actually take the time to listen to how they came up with their conclusions, I can logically conclude a better argument. But you know, too many (again, NOT ALL) like to disregard conversations simply because it contains a fallacy, rather than logically tackling the conclusion, itself, but I digress
Fallacy Fallacy, but I’ll always listen, whenever you do decide to stop ignoring conclusions that differ from your’s and actually…IDK…counteract them?
You’re welcome
EDIT:
Also, it’s not my fault that they get angry at the way I interpreted what they said. How I interpret is how I interpret. You may interpret things differently, than I do. If they want to be upset because of how I interpreted something, that’s on them and not me. It’s how I interpret things based off of the words used and my experience in how those words are used. Perhaps, they can re-word it, differently, to help me better understand instead of getting heated merely because somebody didn’t understand what they meant, the first time.
That’s the whole point of having a conversation. To clear up any misunderstandings. Thanks to some (not all, definitely not you, though) explaining their side, I now have a clearer understanding that PvP Servers just suck.
EDIT 2: Why do PvP Servers suck? Not only is there Ganking, but there’s WB Purging, and the Boosting culture is much larger on those servers than PvE Servers. Even other Posters (in other threads) are claiming the same statement I’m making that PvP Servers are rotting moreso than PvE Servers, and I agree with that. Oh, right, I forgot. I can’t quote other Posters to support my ideology, despite me agreeing with the very folks advocating for NEW Servers, and their reasonings for it.
EDIT 3: But, IK you won’t read everything I’m actually saying just continue to make a mockery of me instead of addressing any points, that I’m actually making. Despite me agreeing with some (not all) individuals, in this very thread.
What about character transfers? Gold farmers/sellers could move characters to the fresh servers, make money there, and in no time it will be the same as the current servers.
We are arguing the same thing RIGHT? I’m talking about how there are youtube comments saying how they don’t want to lose their stuff when within your exact comment he says
“Before you get your knickers in a twist I am not saying that the current tier Classic WoW servers should be totally deleted and wiped or just kept as they are and not progressing to TBC.”
He’s arguing for New servers that are fresh for TBC.
"Those servers should progress into TBC. There should be continued servers but what the community wants is a couple of fresh servers per region."
Are we legit arguing the same thing even? I’m commenting on the youtube comments and how it shows the intelligence level of a lot of the people arguing against NEW servers that are fresh for TBC.
With luck, yes. It would help keep the new servers clean longer. I am quite sure that the botters, exploiters, gold farmers/sellers would still eventually make new characters on the servers since Blizzard is completely laissez faire about policing or administering their server environments, but it would stop them from transferring their bloated Classic characters over.
