I’mma guess you yell at fastfood workers because it’s “Not a real job.”
I don’t need to justify repeatedly why I enjoy posting on Drooler nor am I going to cater to such silly prejudices because I chose to post on him.

at least you show your true face instead of posting on a level 30 alt for “rp purposes” I’m completely confident you’ll get fresh faced zoomers such as yourself to play on the non existent fresh tbc servers with you
Hmm, I must have struck a nerve.
Sorry to hear that. My point stands.
blizzard loves money. it will happen.
you have no point, that’s the problem
Until there is a device that allows me to give you Literacy and Reading Comprehension then I believe we are not going to get much further.
I still wish you all the best and to have a fun time on you server.
If only there was a way for you to quote any point you’ve ever brought up instead of just ignoring the questions I ask you and going on some random tangent, I just prefer to post on my level 32 by the way i won’t get into the details i just do here’s my demands blizzard i represent this community don’t worry i’m not ACTUALLY level 32 i just like this characters face
Post on your 60 classic character if you are going to be making demands concerning legacy servers.
But I do like his face and broken jaw.
And I will continue to enjoy it. I apologize that the very thought of people wishing for a Fresh TBC server infuriates you.
Wanted to post and say thank you to @Drooler for making this thread and keeping it updated. Also my 2 cent -
Blizzard, please add fresh start TBC servers for the launch or during the pre-patch for those who are not interested in continuing on an existing server for all the extremely valid and concerning reasons that have been listed above.
My own feedback beyond what I’ve read is that it’s important to me that these servers cannot be transferred to by characters not also created during fresh start releases for a significant amount of time. The whole point of this is to give people as real of a reset as possible. Allowing people to transfer to it that have had years to stockpile or buy resources from somewhere else undermines that effort completely.
I’m shocked at the individuals who come into this thread specifically to bash those who want these servers. Why not make your own thread talking about the “negative effects” that you think would arise from these fresh servers? I have yet to see a better argument than “you’re mad you’re behind” and “a fresh server will just die”. 1: many of us never played classic wow because that game play didn’t interest us, so how can we be behind in a race when we never even showed up to the starting line?
2: If all of us here get our fresh server and it turns into a huge civil flame war or we all burn out, how does that negatively affect you? At least give us a chance to reap what we sow
It’s clear they prefer to spread negativity instead of constructive conversation.
It’s actually weird and hilarious in a cringe sort of way.
Imagine there’s a crowd of people, on the sidewalk, and they’re all having a conversation about something they all want. One person is leading the conversation and the rest are chiming in, discussing how they also want it.
Then one person who overhears them talking, walks up to them feeling they want to chime in and says:
“YEAH, I DON’T WANT THAT.”
Everyone stops, looks at them with eyebrows raised. “That’s great, then be on your way.”
To which the outsider replies “BUT I DON’T WANT WHAT YOU GUYS WANT.”
To which they reply, with disdain: “Okay, but we do want it so we are discussing it”
The outsider replies more “RIGHT BUT I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I DON’T WANT IT”
To which they reply: “We don’t really care if you don’t want it, you can continue doing what you are doing that you enjoy. We want this other thing and are discussing it”
The outsider response: “YA BUT I DON’T WANT IT SO LETS DISCUSS HOW YOU SHOULDN’T WANT IT TOO I GUESS”
Please stop, get some help.
We’ve been through the negatives of fresh servers time and time again, I’ll do it again
The economy will not be any different, the hardcores will be the hardcores and they will dominate it, there is nothing in place to stop bots, rmters, flying level 3 tauren shamans. You would be in a better state economically to play on established servers.
The servers cannot be researched. There is no way to know what your server is going to be, although best speculation is that they will be very horde dominated
The servers will be a high percentage of people who didn’t play classic, or quit classic before it ended, an entire server of people who have a tendency to quit is likely to end with a bunch of people stuck on empty servers with nowhere to go
It fractures the player base for no real reason
Would love a fresh new TBC server, I stopped playing classic due to the nature of all the boosting and insane AH prices because of all the exploits that blizz never fixed.
This ruined economy ruined it for me, it ruined the feeling of what classic was meant to be about. In vanilla i never saw this behavior that now has leaked into classic from retail. A fresh new server would be 100% more enjoyable than a server that has a lot of people at gold cap through exploits.
Picture a bratty child that nobody wants to play with. Now picture that same bratty child screaming to their parents demanding that the other kids be forced to play with them.
That’s it in a nutshell.
yeah how dare people discuss what you are discussing but not absolutely agree with you on a forum called “classic general discussion” echo chamber only pointless analogies from non classic players on the classic general discussion for 500
Nothing to stop bots, RMT, and hacking. Question is why must we accept this as normal? Why must we accept it as okay functionality from a large company?
Plenty of 100% Alliance population servers. Check ironforge.pro
Those are assumptions with no valid evidence. And yes, many people prefer TBC/Wrath because thats when the game got good. And there are people who want new experiences.
RMT/Botting benefit:
THAT is why. It yes, it is okay for people to have fun.
Ask yourself what your purpose is of discussing the specific topic of “we want Fresh realms”
Are you trying to dissuade these people from wanting that?
If so, why? That’s weird.
Do you just want to see a group of people unhappy?
Why? That’s really weird.
What is the actual purpose to go to a forum discussing fresh realms so you can say how you don’t want fresh realms?
Also, the fact you care about what avatar someone is posting on establishes the kind of person you are. It’s not a good thing.
I have 54 paladin and 52 paladin on two Classic realms. I tried using them but when I switch to them I can’t post on the forum, I don’t know why. Tried logging out and back in. I can only post on this Avatar.
Regardless, the avatar is entirely irrelevant.
Stop, get some help.
A lot of saw where classic was going and opted out for that reason before we were invested, it seems unlikely that any of the die hard classic players would give up their gains thus allowing a server where players are all fresh to thrive. I can’t say for certain It will will cut out all toxic classic players, but I think will be a substantial prevention for a fresh server being as those people would rather do anything than give up their 30k gold and thunderfury.
And once again how does it fracture the player base? Most of us are not in the classic player base nor have any desire to be. We want our own little place, that takes nothing away from you. If people leave then they leave, and we’re on empty servers not you… it just seems like there’s no directly negative effect on you, yet you’re acting like you’re doing us a favor. We know the risks we’re not children, thank you for your concern but let us be accountable for our own actions. You don’t have to support us but there’s no benefit to yourself when you’re attempting to prevent our own goals.
