Yeah. I believe there was some embellishment by the people trying to defend GDKP. I had spoken against it in other threads and got replies like, āGDKP goes all the way back to vanilla. It was normalā¦ā etc. But yeah, point well made. With all the time I spent playing TBC (40 hours a week easily) I saw ZERO GDKPs. Darkspear was my primary server. Nothing at all. Certainly not the near hundred GDKPs going on on Whitemane alone. Maybe more, many with their own Discords. Maybe there was a GDKP or two back in the day? Literally one or two, though. There were a few posts on mmo-champion where Burning Crusade players discussed GDKP, but it was because the OP didnāt know what GDKP was. It has done so much damage to the current state of āClassic.ā Bots are bad because they ruin the economy right? So what are GDKPs doing?

Still no blue post? I am not surprised. Now we have a TBC CE with a toy and a mount and a boost. I am sure there will be a store roll out early to mid TBC. And this isnāt TBC. It may not be game-changing, but come on. A warp stalker mount that everyone will be riding around everywhere? There WAS some variation with horses, mechanostriders, etc. We did not NEED this. Mounts WERE unique. Now everyone will be running around on these things. And in my opinion, they are ugly and donāt make sense running through the Dark Portal with when Netherstorm is deep into leveling. If there is no fresh, Blizzard will lose so many more people who havenāt even posted here. Smh.

I dunno about all that, but it is good to see them being active once again so I hope they take the time to address other issues - such as ours - as we patiently await a response.

They wont open new servers as all the Current servers are labeled progressive. So if you want to play tbc or even wrath start picking a server. Hint Benediction server is super pro TBC. So if you want to play TBC or TBC era Benediction is the server for you.

Every server back in the day was a progressive server and they still added tons of new servers.

Already tossed my 25 dollars to the wind. Went with Sulfuras and thus far I am pleasantly surprised with how good the community is there.
I wonāt lie. I am a little disgruntled with the fact that I feel like I need to waste 25 dollars when the free transfers are what left my home server (Incendius) in such a pathetic state - when it was previously the 3rd most popular server with a faction balance of 53%/47%
That said, I have been very open with everyone Iāve met and the gang and I still fully intend to drop everything and migrate to the fresh servers. Some of the gang stand firm, adamantly saying that they will not re-subscribe without fresh servers. Obviously they are forced into silence on the forum.

The gang and I went exploring - weāve got a couple hundred folks ready to rock for TBCā¦
Many of them are waiting to see how the transfer blocks play out, and whether or not there will be fresh servers. So as not to waste 25 dollars. Personally, the 25 dollars was worth the peace of mind for me - as I just donāt really trust blizzard to ādo the right thingā by Incendius after allowing it to end up in such a state.
But anyway, the gang went exploring. A few of us went to Earthfury. A few of us went to Benediction. A few of us went to Sulfuras.
So far I am pleased with the community within Sulfuras. Benediction-goers donāt have too much negative to report. Earthfury nomads report the server to be a little more toxic than what we are accustomed to. A few others went to some of the other servers that are balanced - but nothing worth reporting yetā¦ It seems like Sulfuras is the best choice for us so far, pending no fresh serversā¦
But weāre all still hoping for fresh servers above all else
