I dying won’t give you fresh server.

KK, I know I really shouldn’t “feed the trolls”, but just for clarity…

Yes, I have heard this explanation before on other posts. I fully realize that many people like yourself played on private/pirate servers and know their history full and well. I am not disputing that, nor can I as I have never played on those servers. I have outlined my request several times and my intentions to start from level 1, completely level my new character, and then journey to Outland to do everything I can in TBC Classic. It is exactly what I did when TBC originally launched. I know it will not be exactly the same this time around, but a fresh new TBC Classic server with no cash shop conveniences on it will more closely re-create the RPG environment I am wanting to play on than the current servers that Blizzard is offering.

It would stop ME from asking, yes. Unlike a great many people on the forums, I lack the magic-eight-ball or complete mental telepathy to speak for others. But I can guarantee it would stop me from asking as I would have what I wanted and be happily playing with my wife and friends.

I find these two statements so contrary, I don’t know where to begin. I could care less about the “meta”. I am not a min/maxer in any way shape or form. I actually enjoy playing the game (GASP!) rather than spreadsheet theories. And for someone who constantly berates people for “not cutting it” your low level character you post from speaks volumes. If you are so much more accomplished, why don’t you show it?

We are trying to create an environment for the community we know we like to play with. It’s the difference between leading and joining. I won’t go into details about the differences as that would take volumes of information.

The thing you cannot comprehend as the notion is completely foreign to you is that many of us actually ENJOY the journey as well as the destination. We are not as tunnel-vision focused as you are around the meta and near-instant gratification. We actually loved the Burning Crusade and want to experience it again as close as we can to its original launch state.

I hope that helps. I know I shouldn’t do this as I have this feeling I just typed a bunch of words that are just going to hit a brick wall. But I thought I would at least try.

Thanks.

It is not an explanation, it is a fact.

When you have no arguments, just call everyone a shill or conspiracy theorist.

Oh look, there’s some dead servers over there- look at all those FRESH players going there. Oh right- it’s a meme, nobody actually wants it, and they’re staying dead. :smirk:

Thanks.

it is a start sir. good day

Except for me because you have me on ignore. You don’t have the person you’re responding to you on ignore, THAT’S why you’re responding to them.

You’re welcome!

Or, a “troll”, somebody who uses fallacies (even though claiming somebody’s point as “invalid” because it contains a fallacy is a fallacy in and of itself, but I digress), put on ignore and encouraging others to do the same, etc.

You’re welcome!

Facts actually require sources. Or did they not teach you that in high school?

I realize you and others have a great deal of experience playing on pirate/private servers, but where are your sources for those of us who have never played on them? I would be interested in reading them.

When you see several different posters spout the exact same line with no evidence, it makes me wonder if I am watching Fox News. Normally when you hear the exact same lines stated by different people, the “message” is coming from some where. I was just curious where…

Because “dead” servers are not what we are requesting. We are requesting new servers. There are differences between them, but you don’t seem able to understand those despite several posts in this thread explaining them. So, I won’t bother trying again. Just know they are different.

Thanks.

No, you don’t. You just throw ad hominems and act like that’s an argument. Hint: It’s not.

And, you’re hoping that NEW Servers will “gather up” a community, for you. Rather than doing the work yourself on a “dead” server that is less infested with Bots.

You’re welcome!

Such as there’s an audience for FRESH, yet there’s no demonstrable attempt by this supposed dedicated and massive group of players to create their own FRESH on one of the dead realms?

That’s a pretty clear example of something that’s being spouted here with zero proof. And I’m one of the only people here giving you solid advice- if you do this, and Blizz sees it and sees the possibility for profit, they might listen. They won’t listen when it’s clear you’re just talking on the forums though and won’t be worth the cost to make new servers for the 5 FRESH players out there. :smirk:

Thanks.

I’m the source, so are you. You know what I said it is true.

KK, again I know I shouldn’t feed but in an attempt to enlighten…

You should really read more news. There have been several posts on MassivelyOP and other gaming web sites as well as on these forums about people who have started over on one of the “dead” servers. There is even a Discord for “The Fresh Crusade”. It isn’t what I am asking for as I have explained there is a difference between starting on an established server and starting on a new one. Again I won’t go over those differences as you seem to not be able to distinguish between them.

But, just for the sake of argument…

I play on the Oceanic Region. There are currently no “dead” servers in this region even if I wanted to do as you suggest. In fact we only have ONE PvE server in the region. So, do I just create my own private/pirate server? No. My best bet is to make a request to Blizzard and hopefully get enough people behind it to show them that it would be beneficial for them both in terms of keeping subscriptions (and maybe even adding to them) and in customer satisfaction. So, that is what I (and many others) are doing.

I hope that helps.

Thanks.

You mean the fake news the loud minority called freshers keep pushing saying there is a demand, but there isn’t.

In fact, the ones that will be mostly befitted from a new economy are exactly botters, gold sellers and farming mafia.

And you know why I know it?
You know how I know it.

Again with the mind reading?

I know no such thing as I stated more than a couple of times now. You are the one who played on those servers and apparently know the entire history of them. Not I.

If all you have is “Because I said so” then maybe take some classes in trolling? You are not doing a very good job of it.

Edit: Had to edit this as you were getting me to respond, so at least 2/10 for trolling for getting a response. I will stop now.

Thanks.

Well, that I knew from the very beginning, I just wanted you to write down so everyone can see that you know nothing about anything.

Last response.

So, taking lessons from Piper now and quoting people out of context? Well, at least you are trying to learn something. Even if it is only how to try to troll better, it is still learning. And that’s always the first step.

Thanks.

Trolls are gonna troll. Ignore them. The only thing that matters on this issue is whoever makes the decision at Blizzard. That’s who needs to be convinced.
