what a bad take
yep. it’s completely stupid. they need to revert the drums nerf, as well as the scrolls.

My bad. Forgot about you Berenstain folks.
What they really need to do to fix the DPS queue problem is make tanks and heals more fun to play. As long as DPS is the fun machine go brrrrr role, it will always outnumber tank and heals and be harder to get into groups as DPS as a result.
You know what would help with that?
If DPS didn’t go berserk and lobby Blizzard 24/7 to ruin tank gameplay every time tanks are having fun.
(See: vengeance, Echoing Void, etc.)
General Discussion: “WE HATE TANKS AND DON’T WANT THEM TO HAVE ANY FUN”
Also General Discussion: “But… but why aren’t there more tanks at our beck and call?”
I don’t think I am lobbying for that though? In my eyes personally, and a lot of people agree, there are a lot of times where the ideal M+ strategy is just kite the mobs as fast as you can; that is not what makes tanking “fun” in my eyes. Maybe you do and that’s okay, we can have certain specs like that. But certain classes can not do it that way and instead just run around while tanking and it’s boring.
Blood is incredibly boring imo, the only fun aspect I think it has is gorefiend’s grasp.
I would need an actual example of this. Never heard anyone saying that they don’t want tanks to have fun.
You are not. DPS on these forums have, repeatedly.
And not just a few. MASSIVE threads filled with DPS players hating on tanks and wanting their gameplay ruined.
Well it’s likely to be a moot point, all things considered.
Don’t just read the edited first post. Read the whole thread.
To do +10 or higher you NEED proper gear, skill and experience.
I read the thread, and while a majority of people are calling OP out, I see what you mean. I do think that if a DPS is really that worried about a tank doing some damage too, it probably has something to do with their place on the meter lmfao.
Bad player hate getting out-DPS’d by a tank. I would probably play a tank spec if I got to see big numbers too, I think they are currently boring. Big number = Serotonin levels go brrrrr

While I realize the goal here is to PLAY your main spec, I find the trick to getting into keys is being a healer; then, the only requirement is that you have a pulse.
There are still some restrictions on that, but healers and tanks have an easy enough time finding key groups that will take them.
And not to say “there is already a solution to this problem” but you may have noticed the CTA on certain roles in dungeon/raid finder… because the supply of DPS is way higher than the demand, so the CTA essentially bribes tanks and healers in, to shorten queue times.
If you’re finding it hard to get in as a DPS, it’s because the supply of DPS players greatly exceeds the demand. Pick up an OS, and suddenly three more DPS are also not getting denied groups regardless of ilvl or experience. Even out the ratio.
AMEN!!! <3
Not all heros wear capes but you sir do.
I get what you’re saying, but some of the blame lands on Blizzard here. I have a friend that plays havoc mainly, and her m+ tree is Korayn, which would also be her vengeance tree if we needed a tank, but conduit energy happened, so now we gotta wait a few more days to pool energy so we can have a backup tank again.
Doesn’t help that tanks are the only role in the game that only get to do one half of the content. If you really wanna see people whining about tanks being playable, go check any of the pvp forums. Kind of a joke to play a role that only really gets to compete in one side of the game. (In general, I know prot pallies are actually pretty decent for pvp, but that’s an outlier, not the norm.)
Blizz should implement a system that allows Conduit energy (w/e it’s called) to be purchased with Anima. I have plenty of that and very little to spend it on.
Alternately, soulbind and conduit setups should change with specs. If I change specs my conduits should change too. Easy fix.
everyone will want to strive to be the big number, toughest tank all that this has done was put logs 1st and yea it will happen.
If you are running your own Mythic+ group and you are a tank, then more people are going to want to apply to it then if you were a DPS. Roll a tank, unfortunately loot drops was nerfed this expansion, so good luck raising your ilvl quickly to be more appealing.
So brutally honest sometimes it just needs to be said especially considering there are probably thousands of other dps players going for the spots.
Why take someone that
When there are an abundant of 240+ sweaty rogues/monks instead?
