There are several articles literally refuting that, that a quick google search will show. The servers are indeed full. They all have at least a small queue 24/7 and SQE has suspended additional sales of the game for now.

What I wrote is what I wrote in isolation, I do not care what else he have said, but what I wrote that he said. That part was pretty true, if you have had any experience with old MMORPGs, then Final Fantasy XIV’s alleged grind is nothing new, quite the contrary, it is way better because, for once, it is actually made interesting to level up.
Sure, and without knowing American school system, it is 4th grade level education to be able to stand back and objectively analyse and evaluate a product, without letting too much of your own subjective point of view influence the final conclusion.
Thus, FFXIV is objectively the better game.

If there is a wait to get on a server, how is that not full? Why would there be a wait to get into something that isnt at capacity?
Because if the servers were full, you wouldn’t be able to get on at all. Did you not even read my initial post or something? They literally just slow everything down to make sure everything runs smoothly, it has nothing to do with server capacity lol.

Lol wow. But yeah since last night the ability to buy the game has came and went several times. SE is working round the clock to get more server space obviously.
I’ve only hit a queue when loading into a city.
Creating a new character puts me in a queue. Loading into a city puts me into a queue.
Has nothing to do with server capacity and everything to do with instance capacity. And since literally every zone in the game is instanced, there you go.
