9.1.5 - Isnt even an update. This is sad

It placates many of the complainers about new hair/need for horde races on alliance. The other 99 percent of us suffer with slight game play adjustments.

Why were you all expecting a full on patch with new content?

Blizzard never said this would be like that. It’s a minor patch at best

Conspiracy theory time!

I actually think unlocking covenants was just a way to get people back on the hamster wheel of grinding renown because most of us were done with that by now

I dislike that it feels like it removed more than it added. I still need to do the awful rep grinds for BfA flying and I can’t /rude at an enemy npc anymore, the animation is gone entirely. Some of the jokes got yoinked, okay, but we didn’t get anything to replace them. So now it’s just less jokes in general. Tower would be nice if it wasn’t several weeks out, which feels very highkey just a move to get subs stretched out. I know everyone already did all their complaining about those things but now that they’re here it’s just a little “Oh- Riiight.”

And here we have another person whinging about a minor patch…

Minor patches very rarely contain new content. There have only been a few, in the entire history of WoW, that have done so. The vast majority of the minor patches have included fixes that couldn’t be put into the game via a hotfix.

Please understand that moving forward. You should never expect new content in a .5 patch. If you get new content, that’s a bonus, not part of the norm.

Lol I just got kicked from a BG as I had some lag going on.

Sad.

Everyone was swearing at me, and it was as if nothing in wow had even changed.

Yes, sure, but we should expect more than a minor .5 patch a year into the expansion, with not even a vague hint of actual new content coming any time in the next six months.

But hey, buy a cat mount!

We already know that 9.2 news is coming soon, probably by the end of the month, since they’re pushing for, at least by the look of it, a February release date.

The development pace is increasing, we’re not going to face 6 months+ without any new content like we did with the wait between 9.0 and 9.1.

Be patient. If you can’t wait, then cancel your sub until there’s something to come back for. It’s not the end of the world.

I am so glad there isn’t any new storylines. We had enough this expansion to last us for the next 3.

so quit. I bought Shadowlands and started playing a month ago just because of this patch - and a large part of that was due to the fact I could skip so much of the story

I wish they’d add Operation Gnomeregan back to the game, I don’t know why it was ever removed. By the time I started playing the game it was already gone, and I never got a chance to see it :frowning: My friend who mains a gnome was super excited about doing it together until we realized it’s not in the game anymore.

By not removing old content, they leave more stuff for people to explore and enjoy - especially newer players. Same goes for how they removed Battle for Undercity, which I also really wish I could have done.

I really hope they focus on delivering on this in the next expansion. I don’t know if it’s just me, but Shadowland zones didn’t really feel very rich in terms of the questing.

This kind of attitude is why blizzard is losing customers.

Laying out facts is why Blizzard is losing customers?

I resubscribed just to see what it was all about. Instant regret, I hate this expansion, and at the current content flow, we probably have a few years until we see a different expac… and even then, it’s still the same Devs, chasing an out of touch cosmic force.

Taking your paying customers for granted is losing customers.

e.g. “A private company changing their private product however they see fit” … (is okay)

and

“You don’t pay them to make content. You pay them to access their product. That’s it. It’s also like 50 cents a day. You’re not special.”

Imagine that as TV commercial. “You pay us for access. You’re not special.”

Gutsmack, we’ve had this discussion a few times already and you were made to look foolish.

If you say so chief.

Their game, their rules, their right to change whatever they want. Cry about it

  1. Oh well
  2. That’s fine, coming 9.2
  3. I don’t mind but Legion M+ is awesome. I hope BFA comes next, but I’d like to see M+ have a queue, normal and heroic removed with “mythic” becoming baseline dungeond and M+ being the scaling difficulty.
  4. I really really don’t care. Letting this live inside your head is a problem. Modernization is fine.

The Blizz white knights can move the goal posts on what a x.x.5 patch should be all they want.

But at the end of the day, 9.1.5 is just the “We made Slands suck slightly less” patch.

Who’s crying?

That’s why I hope 10.0 is a ‘down scale’ expansion where we focus more on the problems of azeroth, get that old content some, much needed, face lifts, and not have some, reality ending threat to deal with for once

So this isn’t the first time that Gut is going for the Bliz Shill of the Year Achievement.
