9.1.5 Changes Happened Because You are Scared NOT Because You Care

That’s my point, broski. He keeps bragging on New World’s “philosophy” but philosophies are worthless without action.

Nothing to apologize. They knew the changes all along and they are instructed not to spoil it. And it surprised everyone.

Wouldn’t matter. Haters gonna hate.

Big agree. My favorite part is how they tell us how actually they didn’t make a mistake by not listening to feedback before now. Blizz was completely justified because lore reasons that make no sense.

Like it would make no sense for the maw walker who saved all 4 covenants and who has already had all 4 covenant abilities to be able to go help a different covenant for a while. Man we players are so dumb, how can’t we see how right blizzard always is.

I can’t believe people are so cynical when they tell us that THIS TIME they’ll listen to feedback, unlike SL, all of bfa, most of legion and all of WoD. Can’t possibly fathom why people are fleeing this game.

Nah, I’m almost entirely certain that people will still find something to complain about.

For example, if this happened, we’d see threads about how he was being “forced” to do it, and how he’s being completely insincere, and then start regurgitating those BlizzCon memes of people onstage going “We see you, we hear you…”

You are likely someone who flags post they don’t agree with. Yet the post was restored.

Yet actually this thread and my other threads are highly upvoted. Since I bring up valid and factual points that is a concern of the community.

You don’t know how to make games fun. You just cry to blizz asking them to make it fun for you. Heccing classic andy.

Well actually it’s the Devs that don’t know how to make games fun. That is why millions of people left SL. That is why SL is called System Lands. That is why Torghast is called Choreghast and why people are tired of chores and toxic systems that create a cesspool for the community.

I know how to make a fun game and SL isn’t it.

Do tell.

That’s my dude. Flex on them because we all know why this is happening. Sure we all appreciate the changes, but this stuff been said since the ptr. I would be amazed if they listen for now on and “forever” or just be defeated by future competition. The mmorpg king title been dethroned. 2004 - 2020 though probably 2014 when WoD came out.

The flex :fire:

They can, but with new innovative hires in every aspect. They can’t fool around in this era because mmorpg genre is going to be very competitive.

You know nothing of true grinds man. If you think “choreghast” is hard then try grinding all the profession materials required to craft the damn thing. That crap takes days if not weeks of pure material grinding just to unlock rank six. Korthia / Maw dallies are optional. People only do them because they see no life mythic raiders do them. Not blizzard’s fault. It’s twitch’s. It’s youtube’s.

This 100%. The changes are obviously great, but definitely sour with the explaination they gave AND with how long it took to implement them since some of these were suggested during 9.0 beta.

Yep, it’s honestly how sad this is. Pretty sure this happened a few times in BFA.

People need to stop praising Blizzard for making changes that should’ve already been in the game. The feedback about SL systems was immense during beta & they didn’t listen. They only “care” now because of subscription numbers and to save face.

I guarantee that if the lawsuit didn’t happen & people running to FF wasn’t happening, 9.1.5 would be very different. Let’s not pretend that it would be full of meaningful changes or things players have begged for. This is only because of what’s happened lately.

No, Blizzard is NOT our partners, they aren’t our spouses, or our friends or loved ones. This weird take where people liken this to a interpersonal relationship is the biggest problem. They’re part of a company. That company sells us a service. If that service is one we like, we purchase it. If not, we don’t. They don’t owe us any apologies or “feel goods” because we feel hurt or “betrayed”. That is not how this interaction works, and people holding on thinking it should is why they wind up lashing out. It’s unhealthy, and you folks need to get a grip.

I didn’t imply they were and you failed to see the point being made.

Any well run business would apologize when they mess up and make inexcusable mistakes. This is just common sense really.

I’m sorry but you are just blatantly wrong. Here’s two websites that estimate player count pretty well and have over the years. Replace the spaces with periods and add the h to ttps. Daily players go from 5.5 million to around 6.5-6.9 million. The consensus of most players is to leave. You don’t need “sub numbers” there is a way to estimate. It’s ok to be happy with the changes but please stop defending a company who has been spiraling since BFA. Not big brothering you but i’ve played since late BC early Wrath. WoW has never felt this lifeless and I stopped playing late in 9.0. It’s part of the reason they stopped showing those numbers because every year has been a loss.

Attention addicts tend to get flagged alot. Who cares it’s done you either play or you dont that unsub button ain’t hard to hit. But we all know op never will cause he loves wow. And if next expansion is here with systems and beta complaining and no changes y’all will still be here so enjoy next patch like you know you will.
