This was a fairly regular occurrence in history, especially when (but not exclusively) adrenaline enhancing stimulants were involved. It is not outside the realm of possibly, or even plausible expectation, for Saurfang to experience these same conditions, especially given that orcs are known for their inherent ability to simulate a battle rage.

We need an expansion where we discover Anduin died of scurvy on the way to Kalimdor and Genn decided to take a caravan back to Gilneas but didn’t make it due to dysentery.
Thrall would’ve sent his condolences to the Alliance but he contracted malaria and died, surrounded by Baine who had to cover himself due to being in the late-stages of leprosy.
Maybe the Steamwheedle could’ve helped him with some medication but Gazlowe died of cancer due to all the fumes he’s been inhaling in Ratchet.

The residents of Ironforge suffocated from the sulfurous fumes the lava under the city put out due to inadequate ventilation.

Killing prey - yes, it will leave you empty.
Killing someone who actively killed you will leave you alive.
You don’t choke people out in the name of justice.
I’m not a fan of the story beat in the first place but I think the game’s pretty clearly trying to sell that Tyrande’s really doing this about vengeance instead of justice. It’s just muddled a lot because Sylvanas is still an active threat so the path is mostly parallel.
