Imagine if the story for Shadowlands had nothing to do with the Jailer and Sylvannas soap opera but alien devourers showing up and destroying the afterlife and we have to fight an alien invasion in the after life.
The premise of that would be typical rule of cool warcraft plot.
Adventurers are needed to stop an aliene invasion but an aliene invasion IN THE AFTERLIFE!? Save the souls of your loved ones from being devoured by this new and mysterious force that resides in the maw, once the plane that held the worst and most terrible souls is now the launching ground of an alien invasion which intends to devour every soul ever or something.
I guess itād be a little bit like the Emerald Nightmare but WITH ALIENS haha

the devourers, despite being saddled with an incredibly bland name, are imho one of the most if not THE most interesting aspects of SL and iām worried theyāre gonna get left by the wayside and forgotten after everything is said and done, especially if thereās no 9.3

Pretty bad that Blizzard releases an interesting mount and itās only a cash shop. Meanwhile most of the stuff we get isnāt spectacular in that regard.

apparently sylvia loyalists get a different confrontation with her in the battle for ardenweald. anyone know what it is?

You get a prompt asking if you want to continue for 10,000 gold at which point she takes a S.E.L.F.I.E with you where you hover hand hard and her body language as sheās only sort of leaning towards you but with her feet pointing away really says sheās only in it for the gold.
If you time your clicks right to click twice and have at least 20,000 gold on you she leaves you with a pair of her socks.

Iām excited to catch some corpse fly battle pets!
I hope by the end of the expansion they release covenant restrictions. Juspion is Venthyr because I like the mogs but boy do I want that corpse fly mount for him. Yet also I wish I could soulshape into a spider or a turtle because that just looks like a fun ability to have for the casual dumb play that I do. Itād also be fun to make him look like a necromancer but also switching seems like a real pain in the butt.
