honestly i think that’d be cool as heck.
i want a few tiny qol updates with co-op as well, such as sharing shrine bonuses across an entire party (and you will have to be partied up and in the area).
I never, ever thought I would say this.
BfA’s story is better than Shadowlands’s story.

I see we’re just saying any old words now.
I feel like this is the first time I just have…no reaction. I don’t mind that Anduin is Lil’ Lich. I don’t mind that the writers are reaching for the big red button marked “redeem” with all the subtlety of a spaniel dressed as an accountant. I don’t think I’ll even notice when the Paragon is Paragone.
Like…for the first time, I’m just planning on…not caring. I’m just going to continue ignoring it. There’s something sad about that, but also kind of liberating.
Evil Maw Forest doesn’t sound too bad.

Exactly this, at least with BfA, it was bad it was really bad, but at least it was bad with characters I cared about. I don’t care about any of these new characters. Including Anduin and Sylvannas. For all intents and purposes, they are now new characters wearing our old beloved ones as a skin suit. I had a lot of reasons to keep my characters on Azeroth before, now I have all the reasons.

It kind of bums me out to admit this, but I honestly don’t really care about Tyrande, either.
Like, sure, she’s upset and I used to be able to relate to that. But now everything just keeps getting more and more meaningless, to the point where I’m like “jeez, I can understand the motive but the character is so obnoxious I don’t want to.”
It’s a bummer she won’t get justice but honestly whatever, the writers are just going to give her a Potion of You Aren’t Mad Anymore.

and say what you will but bfa set the stage for conflicts that actually mattered on a smaller scale, in which you could write better stories within the text and have fun with that. sure, i mostly wrote fanfiction instead of RP’ing during bfa, but at least i wanted to write something.
i have no spark of inspiration or thoughts about shadowlands at all.

Like it. 7/10 for me. I’m really disappointed Anduin is more a mind slave than a twisted DK version of him self. And seeing how control of him was slipping its so obvious well end up freeing him.
Really wish I was on Sylvanas and the Jailers side. I see no motivation to stop them since an afterlife which strips you of you former identity and making you a cog in a grand machine kind of sucks.
The mortal realms have more freedom than the Shadowlands do. I’m even more convinced Sylvanas raising night elves into undead was doing them a favor.
Except that’s not the afterlife everyone goes to, Bastion is just one of the “service” realms of the afterlife. There are infinite afterlives and a few that aren’t the 5 we visit are mentioned in campaign quests.
She’s clearly either questioning the Jailer’s plans now or it will be revealed that she’s been working against him the entire time.
For me, I see one thing I like and I’m happy. That is the hand mount, which I expect will be tied to the new zones big achievement like the crab from Nazjatar.

- Boss that is the literal Eye of the Jailer, utilizes the eye of Odin
- Kel’thuzad is featured
- Sylvanas is also a fight - the finale will change the future of the Shadowlands
I think it is safe to say everyone is tired of Sylvanas. I can’t wait for the 9.1 fight ending where she turns into the smoke monster from Lost and flies away again.

The downside to playing on an RP realm is I can’t tell who’s just hamming it up for a character and who actually needs some help.
