I hope they announce customization for allied races. Even if it’s a “It will be something we’re working on” like the Worgen/goblin model stuff was.

Every major patch should be adding a few more customization options for all races. Doesn’t have to be a lot. Just a few.
Increase to anima gain options once you’re done the covenant campaigns.

I really don’t know what to expect. But I can at least predict almost certainly…
- Covenant Campaign Expansion
There’s tons of unresolved and cliff-hanger quests in each covenant that we’re going to readily follow. Tyrande and the Night Warriors of old, Uther, Kel’thuzad, and the ascension of Prince Renathal to Sire. - Ending the Drought
Undoubtly; the drought has to be ended and the Anima that we can salvage from Revendreth will be sent to Oribos; allowing us to unlock a new Shadowlands zone. Leading to the 9.1 Raid. - Sylvanas didn’t skewer and transform Anduin.
Spoiler
Sylvanas has Anduin in a prison somewhere in Torghast and was moved to force Anduin onto the Jailer’s side. Because it cuts off there; I’m assuming they didn’t gut Anduin and turn him into the Jailer’s pawn. Because it would be too easy and Sylvanas is TOTALLY a redeemable character.
- Expanded Customization for UNFINISHED Races / Genders
Races and genders like Male and Female Gnomes & Undead will get additional customization options to help bring them up to par. As well as HOPEFULLY new facial options for every race. Even better if they add “Mood” choice. Where you can change your character’s default face position.
Bonus: Mechagnome Overhaul
They fix the mechagnome race to have asymmetrical limb choices, as well as a mechanical limb THAT CAN DISPLAY ARMOR ON THE ARMS AND LEGS IF SELECTED.

EDIT: All I can hope for is more customizations, really for any characters. That’s what I was most hype for at expansion launch, it’s what I’m most hype for now.

Sadly, you’d not be too far from the truth. Blizzard hates fun, after all. The sheer amount of fun we got with just this customization boost proves that it has to stop now.

I’d also like more character customizations! Give me face squishes for different races and by that I mean Nightborne even thow I don’t even play any whew that fan edit got me hopeful.
Otherwise I suspect the main story moving forward with more covenant campaign stuff. I also I suspect the Jailer is gonna be like, Anduin sucks time to pull out my back up plan and drags Arthas out of the lore hole and then Sylvannas is like no way I hate that guy and rescues Anduin so we forgive her and now we fight Arthas who somehow becomes the weapon and betrays the Jailer and becomes the real end boss of the expansion.
That might be a bit much for 9.0.5 buuuuut it’s what I suspect is gonna happen lmao anyway give me Draenei heritage armour and more customization glam!

Yea if heritage armor isn’t in the next patch it’s highly likely it’s getting abandoned which not only would it be a massive shame, it’d raise some concerns for me on the overall health of the game.

I’d also love some customizable eyebrows for races like what humans and night elves got. I’d always choose the ANGRY eyebrows even thow most of the default expressions are ANGRY at least I can choose to be ANGRY lololol
Also I like the 3D eyebrows Lightforge male Draenei have and wish I could slap some onto my blue bois

(ok I would be fine with it as an option but I’d like to be able to have non elf eyebrowed lightforged I think he looks more handsome this way)

My hope: revendreth high heel boots dropping from something.
It would be to cool to get increased Torghast/Corridors rewards.
I wonder if the next raid is Nightfae/Drust themed and involves saving/curing Tyrande as Nightfae campaign has some Tyrande stuff in it.

Watch out, enemies of the Venthyr who are standing six yards away from me. Every 1.5 minutes, you’re in trouble.
It’s my profound hope that patch 9.1 takes us back to Azeroth somehow. The Jailer’s seeking the soul of our world - he has to go after it at some point.
I’d like to see more of what’s going on back home. What the Scourge remnants are doing. How Turalyon and Alleria operate as rulers of Stormwind. What’s with all the datamined Scarlet Crusaders. Whether or not the rescued leaders return home.
I wanna know what’s going down on Azeroth.
My prediction?
We get “Maw Invasions” in the existing Shadowlands zones and not much else.
