Maybe they go far enough that these characters do not forgive Sylvanas, but her saving Anduin will be treated as her redeeming moment and everyone who still hates her after that will be shown as being in the wrong.

I don’t like what they are doing with Sylvanas. Why the regret and remorse over her choice now? If you don’t get what I’m talking about, look at her reaction in the final scene. It’s blatantly obvious.

Killing the Archon kinda felt like the easy way out for trying to set up a Lich King Anduin. How do we have him do Arthas things while also playing it safe? Kill off the “important” side character that people aren’t really all that attached to. Gives him all the benefits of looking like Arthas without fundamentally ruining anything, because we’ll likely just install someone else as Archon and leave SL in a few patches. Also worth noting is that Anduin likely has never met the Archon, and has no attachments to her.

The risky, more impactful, move would have been to have him kill someone in Orribos, because that would have an actual lasting impact on the narrative.

But, here we are.

The trailer was meh. We know Anduin will be saved so this wannabe Arthas thing is just kind of flat, the only consequence of this will be he will get aged up to an old man.

Sylvanas shows more doubt, she is clearly seeing the Jailer is a bad dude, she couldn’t see that before now? Is Blizzard trying to write her as being stupid?

Either way it obviously sets up her turning on the Jailer, saving Anduin, and helping us stop him so she gets hailed a hero and all is forgiven.

Maybe it’s just me, but a part of me was kind of hoping Arthas would’ve been Zoovals ultimate weapon. Someone who truly did strike fear into his enemies

I’m not sure if it’s the Jailor’s power boost or maybe an assist from Levitate but I can say it’s a shame basketball doesn’t exist in this universe because Anduin has an amazing vertical leap.
