Considering the key seems related to their souls, as well as denathrius being on the jailer’s side, who’s to say the sire hasn’t already unlocked whatever revendreth’s lock is?
edit - not to mention the jailer no longer having any interest in retrieving denathrius

The trailer was meh. We know Anduin will be saved so this wannabe Arthas thing is just kind of flat, the only consequence of this will be he will get aged up to an old man.
Sylvanas shows more doubt, she is clearly seeing the Jailer is a bad dude, she couldn’t see that before now? Is Blizzard trying to write her as being stupid?
Either way it obviously sets up her turning on the Jailer, saving Anduin, and helping us stop him so she gets hailed a hero and all is forgiven.

Yeah but one of the lead writiers is a Sylvanas Simp so we can’t have her be 100% pure evil.
Even though she willingly committed attempted genocide and lied about her true motives from her advisors and military generals with the expectation of Nathanos (even though the Warbringers video implies that burning Teldrassil was unexpected based on Nathanos’ reaction).

Cause Blizzard wanted to make Sylvanas badass and metal (by their definition)! But then have her still be redeemable (she isn’t), so they could save her.
But all it does is make Sylvanas look dumb as hell.

Although this does imply that the runecarver is not the Primus (although he probably still is). Because if he was then Zovaal would have his key as well.
Unless the keys are their souls. In which case Denathrius’s is trapped inside Remornia getting a painful tan and the Primus (if he is the runecarver) is still imprisoned within Torghast because he is still useful in creating mourneblades. But if that is the case, why didn’t Zovaal go ‘rescue’ Denathrius instead of saying “he has served his purpose”

Cause I am sure all the Night Elves who died, and everyone in the 4th war, and were sent to the Maw will love that Sylvanas changed her heart in time to save Anduin…

Maybe they go far enough that these characters do not forgive Sylvanas, but her saving Anduin will be treated as her redeeming moment and everyone who still hates her after that will be shown as being in the wrong.
