you do know that is not 100Factual? gear ends yes but another level begins and with a bad AoE cap your not going to steam roll thru the world.

Except that it did in WotLK and even Cataclysm. Who do you think the Dungeon Finder was added for to begin with? Why do you think they added rewards for tanks and healers who solo queued in Cataclysm? Either you started playing pretty recently or you have selective amnesia if you really believe that there was never a progression path for solo play.

Heck, the leveling experience that makes up the bulk of the Classic playing experience is 90% solo.

To get the item. To do the actual quest was 100% solo. Meaning there absolutely was content meant for solo progression.

I could have also just snarkily said “battle pets say wut?”

Dispute what?
Did you quote the wrong thing or something?
What I stated is not something that can be disputed.
That is what happened.

They had a system like we had with vessels for Horrific Visions in place, and the community was really strongly in favor against it, so they removed it and the rewards that would go with it.

Either way, if you are planning to quit, I wish you the best of luck.
I think though, if you expect Blizzard to be concerned with this, you may be disappointed.

If they were, there would have been a response to this already, no?

is this a law, from the Ministry of Truth?

Wait what?
I am not considering “solo play” queuing for dungeons.
I am discussing things you actually do alone.

Like the Vanilla class quests?

I NOTICE YOU AREN’T ACKNOWLEDGING THIS, METRO.

You mean the Rhok’delar , Longbow Quest when you picked up the leaf from the Major Domo fight chest in Molten Core.

That was a real pain, those demon’s were not easy and you had better have known how to kite them to even succeed.

And if your goal was buying out the rep vendor’s contents in Cataclysm, you could pretty much do that with the resources you gathered over the course of grinding out the rep. If that’s your goal now, you’re going to be there a long freaking time because after three months of play, I haven’t even fully built out my sanctum. Where am I supposed to find the anima to buy all those pets and mounts? I know the anima grind is technically finite, but it certainly feels infinite.

I dunno clearly the forums are good enough to keep you subbed.

Because some one else already handled it.
Those are actually an example FOR my point, not against it.
It was content you did alone to support you in raid content, just like I explained in my second post in the thread.

snaps fingers

That’s right you’re talking about the quest that was made easier if your friends helped you out by killing mobs in the surrounding area so you didn’t accidentally aggro them. The same quest that if you brought a warlock to the fight in Silithus, the fight becomes much easier? That solo quest?

Casuals were not the ones complaining about loot drops in BFA, Elitists were. /sorry

Each avenue has an end until you decide to go to the highest tier, which has an end.

So, in this patch, I’ll never do anything higher than heroic raid and my weekly 10-12. At best I’d get to all 220s + my legendary. Tops. You can figure that out for whatever content a player is doing.

I can’t even remember the last time my aff lock that I’m not good at playing died, though I do have enough sense not to aggro all of a zone at once.

Okay, but it is finite, so let’s stick to factual things for the sake of the argument here.
Blizzard probably cares more about “feelings” than I believe they do, but that is an impossible thing to discuss, when “feelings” contradict facts.

I had friends that made it infinitely easier.

I have legitimately zero idea what you are talking about right now.
I think you misunderstood what you originally read.
I am talking about Torghast and its unlock structure.
Has nothing to do with “elitists” or “loot drops in BFA.”

You said that there was NO “intentional” solo content in WoW. But there was.

Also pet battles say hi once again. Why won’t you pay attention to pet battles?

There were ways to cheese it, yes. But not the portion with the debuff. If anyone so much as came near you, buffed you, attacked the demon, anything
one shot. It was DESIGNED to be solo content and actively punished you or was straight up impossible to complete in many cases unless done solo.

Sorry what genre was this again?

Except I didn’t do it solo. Again, friends kept their distance, pulled mobs away from my kiting path therefore the fight became easier. Brought a lock to apply a debuff before the fight started in Silithus, got my Rhok’delar.
