BfA showed a great content in his game for more disappointing what it was to see inside the game, Shadowlands trailer this was vague and more to take a progress theme, inclusive with female empowerment of a boring Sylvanas in HD for the third time and killing what would be the Return of the Lich King.
Every single expansion.
What you people want is a new game. Go play a new game.

But see… The classes were fun before they ruined them. So turning back the clock and undoing dumb choices when the better way already existed in the past doesn’t really need to cost us all a new class.
I mean the problem is in my opinion anyway. Every build spend DPS plays the same with very subtle variation and almost every tank at least for me feels just like the next. Again with small variations.
So while I welcome the un-pruning. They also need to return to the way a few of the classes once played. Sure being more about the class and less about the spec is a step in the right direction but until we see it in action it is just words.
For example, Wrath was a good timeline for how some classes played, Cata was for others and while some may have hated it Brewmaster was awesome IMO during MoP. Some Classes never needed to be changed but almost all of them do now because they are a mindless bore to play IMO.
They’re increasing the health and damage of M+ mobs by 35%.
Forgot that Mag’har Orcs/Dark Iron Dwarfs didn’t come out in 8.0. Oh wait…
That’s the same thing they did the last couple of season resets, no?
Pattern since MoP:
- Less content
- Less real estate
- Pruned classes
- Fewer choices
- Ground littered with trash packs (that great ground game we were promised?)
- Pathfinder
- Time gates on EVERYTHING
- RNG layered upon RNG
- Crap gear (also random) no tier sets; no fixed stats/affixes
- No new class abilities or talents
All indicates big budget cuts and unimaginative devs to me.

Well they did basically take away our boost that we normally have gotten in the past. Not sure if you want to count that as $10 worthy or not.
True I wasn’t even thinking about that since I rarely use them for a meaningful purpose. I really like leveling. still sounds like a good deal for what they have shown so far. im thinking by the time the next patch releases and we get death knights and vulpera and mechagnomes we will have even more info on Shadowlands. it can only get better from here.
Personally, I’m heavily skeptical about it. So far in my opinion, based on the decisions Blizzard has been making hasn’t been very promising. I really hope by time 8.3 comes out they will have some information that looks more promising than it is now. At this point I’m kind of just here for the story. Even though the story has been kinda meh as well.
No, one of their major announcements was “there will be no spec/class overhauls in shadowlands”. Complete opposite of what you said.

As it stands, I’ve had level capped characters of each class since Legion, and no reason to make alts in BFA. All these new races, no new classes to play them with.
I was hoping for 4th specs for more classes, or even a third spec for Demon Hunters.
