To me a new expansion means, Leveling to a new max, New stories and lore questing, new dungeon and raids. Im looking forward to it. There are people out there tired of having to relearn a new class every expansion and just want minor class adjustments. Shamans changed so much i had to change class to get the same playstyle as I found fun.

Reworking how leveling is done is a massive change.
No new classes is a weird choice, I agree, I was previously convinced “Tinker” was coming.
I’m genuinely surprised they are enhancing existing races instead of a new class, feels like a marketing mistake to me.

only thing new in shadowlands is covenants aka wod garrison 2.0 shared garrisons…lol

btw a m+ 19 next patch is the new m+15 and the m+15 now is the new m+10…have fun.
There is a sort of new class but it’s not for all races just the AR’s and Pandas. And since there will be 10 AR’s and Pandas that is actually one race short of the number of core races so it can be considered a new class.
And we have 4 covenants which have their own zone, the Oribos and the Maw. All of which we don’t know the actual size so they could be huge.
Throw in the customizations and bringing back some skills, though not enough for me to be excited about, and it feels pretty big imo. We’ll just have to wait and see what they release in the future and hope it measures up.
And guess what? You have 2 more raids and then nothing new to do in Classic period.
End of Dungeon loot will increase as well up to 475. Its not like your staying in 430 M+10 gear excluding the end of week chest
They said we get to help decorate our covenants place so the grind for essence could be really fun in Shadowlands.
Covenants:
- Each have their own talent trees and abilities.
- Each have their own place to decorate
- Each have their own set of cosmetics and armor.
- Each have their own story
Plus everything else they’ve announced sounds like a lot to me for $10.00 less than normal.
If you watched the interview with preach/bay interviewing Ion, he gave them a lot of “I don’t know” and “we’re figuring it out”. There is a reason a lot of the stuff was vague.
They haven’t figured out what they’re going to do 90% of the expansion. there will most likely be spec overhauls.

Pretty sure every class is getting overhauled. It was one of their major announcements.
But yeah, the no new class thing sucks. This is the first every-other expansion to not get a new class.
I dont want a new class i want them to fix the other classes we have and make them more fun
