You’re high. Every race being able to become a Death Knight in itself is pretty huge. New starting zones. From what I understand, Death Knights will now start at level 1.
That is 8.3 content from what i understand so nothing to do with Shadowlands though it is a very welcome change.
Bro, this is exactly what I am expecting at this point. Blizz is fresh out of ideas for WoW and they’re just gonna cobble together some oddball story lines and put together a new expansion overlaying the existing template used in BAF. And that’s not a good template to begin with.
I for one can’t get very excited about the prospect of another BFA style expansion.
The feature trailer does not even talk about the tower
Worryingly early, if they’re releasing it next year. Especially given the scope of the changes they’re making to leveling. That’s going to be a massive undertaking to complete within the year even if they had a solid idea of what they were doing, and not “we’re still deciding how some of this is going to work.”
Artifact weapons were also NEVER a step backwards. You were always gaining something, even a small boost, as opposed to potentially losing an Azerite trait or risking severe negative consequences by equipping it in the case of Corrupted gear.
I’m counting i them taking their time with this and not pushing for an August/September release and more like a December/January. That would be ideal. It seems like they might actually being going back to their “it’s ready when it’s ready” attitude.
Its still early i would argue but with the content reveal trailer it wasnt that much different to bfa when u compare them side by side.
but it does… directly after the new dungeons and raid scene…
have fun chasing rng ilvl loot cheese each patch because you are a mouse in a maze my dude.
Have fun going game to game, never happy because you want everything your way like an entitled child. Again, Bye Felecia.
classic wow is fun already 60 and got my pvp bis on my enhance shaman its going to be great.i cant wait for classic tbc to launch.
enjoy you rng lootbox upgrades for the next 3 years chase that cheese each patch my dude.
Covenant abilities = new version of essences
Replayble Tower = new version of Mechagon
I believe there’s supposed to be some type of “talent tree” or something based on the covenant you choose? Haven’t seen anything about that. New raids and dungeons but that’s not really “get excited about the new expac!” news since it’ll probably be a repeat of overloaded mobs to buff up the esports key runs and raids where the usual mechanics means the usual specs are in the top for performance.
Other than legendaries coming back (and being craftable this time) and some new customizations, it really doesn’t feel like a new “expansion.”
The story better be EPIC (or at least more engaging than BfA has been).
Enjoy that impending ceiling of last content, while doing the same amount of RNG, just without the ability to get better past a threshold. Also enjoy a game that is 15 years in the past, and never going further than there. Enjoy a game with poo graphics, a smartphone could run, and will end up distilling down to just a bit of players per server that isn’t what a streamer uses. Bye Felecia.
you think getting loot for bosses in classic as a flat percent is the same as a rng lootbox on retail???
classic wow is destroying retail and classic tbc will destroy shadowlands…lol.
My thoughts exactly. The demo didn’t really feel like a huge upgrade.
Every blizzcon demo of the new WoW expansion had something new. Come try the new Demon Hunter/Pandaren/Death Knight/Allied Races.
This just feels like a lot of housekeeping. Housekeeping that, while substantial, could be implemented in a series of content updates.
Yes, there was the What’s Next and Deep Dive panels that explain what Shadowlands was about, but if you have to explain in some esoteric panel in tiny minutia what the game is all about, you have failed marketing-wise. The product should speak for itself, and Shadowlands has not
your playing shadowlands now all you will do is log in and get your rng upgrades on tuesday for the next 3 years.
People still don’t understand Classic and Retial appeal to different demographics of players and each person is going to prefer one, or the other or even both. Which is perfectly fine! That makes our world less boring.
Now on to the actual topic, I assume with the unpruneing there will be spec revamps and changes, you can’t just throw in some old removed abilities and call it a day they are going to have to rework some of the specs. If they really are starting to listen to feedback from my understanding one of the big problems with BfA is how the classes play so I imagine they are going to look into that.
Classes/Races we don’t really need a new class currently, it is best for them to focus on fixing and balancing the other classes. When the classes are in a comfortable state then maybe the expac after they can think about adding a new class. As for races they are probably going to stick with the whole allied race thing, it looks like we have room for one more set of allied races which we could end up getting with the launch of the expac. We are also having lots of new customization features so I think that is going to replace races this expac. The old races did need this sort of love that they are getting and I rather have that than a new race that I probably won’t even play.
yep one game is a real mmorpg and one is an esprot.
There will be a metric alright
