8.3 = full time job?

essences are the issue not gear tbh

…

did I?

I feel like all I did was daily random heroic and raid.

Did we grind in wrath?

What did we grind?

Or a better question, what was mandatory to grind to be at peak performance?

As I said before, for the 3rd time. A grind is a grind. I guess it just doesn’t affect me like it does to others.

Well there’s your problem.

Also, you cry a lot.

Why are all your posts whiny posts from a classic character?

Unless you want to do dailies there really isn’t anything to do. The assaults and horrific visions are pretty much weekly things. Pretty far from a full time job.

I have a lot of alts and most of them are 120. I’ve been playing for a long time on this game. It is enjoyable to go through on my main, which took a LONG time to go through the main questline, do all of the current quests in the two N’zoth invasion zones, gather the currency, do the visions, check out the new rares and boxes and try to click on everything that wiggled in the zones to get more currency to do more stuff. However, spending another 8 or 10 hours on another toon that I would just like to be able to heal on, or do different types of damage or just look different and get the new cloak is a PAIN IN THE PATOOT. Why can’t I skip most of this stuff if I’ve already done it??? If I want to level the cloak, I know I have to do the dailies and the visions, etc, but just getting the cloak is an amazing grind!

A lot of people I know say that this is like having another full-time job…I quit so idc.

Blizz is trying to reinvent the wheel to keep players interested. But fail to realize good class design and good gear design is what matters in content that is fun.

Why shouldn’t you be PvP and Dungeon ready quickly? That’s the content that people actually enjoy.

The amount of character power locked behind nothing content like dailies is absurd. Characters power should be dictated by the level of content you do, no how many dailies you grind.

8.3 content is front loaded once you get past the initial cloak steps the daily grind to maintain isn’t bad at all

Yeah, about that. How much rep did an average daily give in WotLK? Was it more than a paltry 75? Why’d that change? It was 150 in Legion.

Well technically, anything you do in game is a grind so I wanted to be specific.

  • correct secondary stats- Always been a thing
+AP grind- you really only need level 75 so no big deal
  • Azerite armor trait farm- I hate these. Would prefer tier
  • Essence farm- most should be farmed up by now. Still sucks on alts though.
  • legendary cloak farm- After the first week you can only get 1 level so that’s not really “farm”
  • corrupted gear correct affix’s farm-See azerite comment

anything more than what I did in mists of pandaria–I’m just not doing it period and 10 months spent unsubbed is the result of this ap grind.

Correct secondary stats was not always a thing. Gear once had static stats.

You people are impossible to please. 8.3 is quite fun imo. I don’t see it as “omg, more stuff I have to do?” I see it more as “whoa, look at all the cool new stuff I can do! New story lines, diff ways to get gear, cool!” I’ve had quite a bit of fun doing dailies in Uldum and VoEB. I like the pvp skirmishes that take place during rare battling. And all of the neat creatures and mobs you can find.

If you don’t like working for stuff in-game, go play a sandbox game and /give yourself everything. Learn to enjoy the process.

I’m just gonna finish raid on normal and level up the new allied races then quit WoW for good.

But you only have to do it once and it’s forever for-ever is a long time. Should be proud of yourselves for accomplishing the feat it’s what separates us from the general rabble.
