I liked him before they turned him into a plot that exists only to continue the Sylvanas batting. I’m just going the nihilistic route now. Everything and everyone sucks except for Sylvanas and I’m fully prepared to go down with this character no fks given and then peace the hell out of this game.

If they really wanted to increase the difficulty of the fight they’d increase health pools 6 fold. They’d remove flying in cities, at least they’d make flying for the opposite faction impossible through guards and other items.

He NEVER complains and actually actively helped me cause quite the disturbs and kill people in the 8.1 War Campaing… and this without mention he weas the one actually responsible for us finding Derek, and was just right there next to Nathanos when the Banshee lapdog mentioned how Derek was “potentially useful”.
No, I´m about to believe Zelling has brainrott episodes that makes him become mentaly absent a lot of the times…

Now that we see them all it seems more like a collection of gag joke books or something…
He’s constantly second guessing the actions we (and he) perform. He constantly asks about his family, and for aid to his family. The entire reason that he became undead was to try to protect them.
The core focus of Thomas Zelling is the protection of his wife and daughter. It is not and has never been “hhuehuehuehuehuehue let’s do some evil!”

And what does this have to do with him happily AND WILLINGLY contributing to Nathanos schemes? Is Zelling a blind idiot? Hasn´t he realized by now how things could go for his family with psychos like Nathanos et al running rampant on Kul Tiras burning and killing stuff indiscriminately? Heck, he was the one that HELPED US FIND Marcus!! He´s a huge hypocrite or went literally braindead for a minute cause last time I saw we kinda didn´t ask Marcus if he was ok with becoming an undead before making him one in the first place…
Also, he ask like 3 times max. Most of the times he´s acting naugthy his family magically dissapear from his mind.
Then it´s official, he´s a moron. He saw how Forsaken that become expendable are treated when Marcus was discarded just in front of him so… what guarantees does he had AFTERWARDS about the survival status of his family? At the end of things Voss is but a mere operative, SYLVANAS calls the shots and Nathanos happily follows them, regardless of the consequences for the raised Kul Tirans.

He hasn’t been happy doing this stuff, it’d probably put his family in more danger if he failed to uphold his end of the bargain in exchange for keeping them safe, and he didn’t know Marcus was just a disposable asset once Nathanos was done with him at the time he located the body.

Yeah I hate that we might get another SOO and lose yet another Horde warchief and Horde character. It’d almost comical… if it weren’t so depressing.

Call me crazy but sane individuals don´t continue with activities they hate unless directly threatened.
And last time I saw nobody in the merry go camp of War Campaing operatives has threatened Zelling EVEN ONCE. Ergo if he continues supporting the messed up stuff he isnñt bothered by it at the least and actually likes it at the most.
Funny way to depict it when the “Faust” character never complains over the bad consequences of the stuff he engages with. Heck, he only qqed when it was Derek, but suspicioulsy enough this wasn´t an issue with Marcus or Amelia because…?

It is dumb as hell that Derek would be the breaking point for some of these characters. “We were cool with burning down a city but raising this rando guy no one knows or cares about is just TOO MUCH!”

You’re crazy. People do activities they hate when they’re blackmailed or dutied to said task.
Zelling is both, even if he doesn’t realize the former.
That actually doesn’t follow. At all.
People do things that they don’t like all the time. They do them because they like what doing that thing will get them; like money, fame, protection, or even just maintaining a relationship etc… Zelling does what he’s done because he wanted to protect his family but it was never implied that he grew to enjoy the work like Stone did. To claim that he did is overstepping what you can actually prove, or at least have proven thus far.
And on another note…
Player feedback was never going to alter this. Not in the broad details. Blizzard is building 9.0, whatever it is, right now. Someone is gathering images from the servers they have running to make the trailer that they will show at BlizzCon 2019 right now. Heck if they can manage it the cinematic for the next expansion might be rendering right now.
If Sylvanas dies it’s because she was dead before 8.0 ever made it live. The cost of pushing content out faster and weaving narrative elements more tightly together is always going to be a lack of flexibility.
