8.1.5. Spoilers

We’ve already had to suffer Sylvanas’s betrayal of the Horde. You’re right in that I want to avenge the Horde against her.

TOO BAD!!! Horde Representative treng already said he did. so shall be it!!

when saurfang said he wanted his horde back, he wasn’t talking about blood elves.

To be fair, I’d prefer that to Kerrigan-Sylvanas. Simply because the latter is just so bad. Ideally, we’d get neither.

I agree completely, perhaps we don’t know where it will go.

The Void and Old Gods see all paths as true and make prophecies yet Xal’atath unlike the Old Gods speaks not of the future but of the past and her words involving the past include lies and truths in equal measure(her most notable lie is the Old Gods being her brethren).

N’Zoth’s words are half-truths about the Future while Xal’atath’s words are lies and truths about the past.

The Light is clearly seen by N’Zoth as aligned to the force that caused Vol’jin to appoint Sylvanas Warchief. Both Death and Void want Sylvanas dead yet the Light showed no thoughts on the matter.

If Elune made Sylvanas Warchief I dare say she wants Tyrande to eradicate the Horde and Sylvanas to purge Azeroth of all Great Trees created by Staghelm. She may also want Alexstrasza’s head for ordering the blessing of Teldrassil.

Wait so you telling us Zelling is being blackmailed and that´s why he does what he does when he supposedly hates it but then you said he doesn´t know he´s being blackmailed?

/facepalm

Suure, Treng. Next thing I know you´re going to tell me Zelling is unconsiously reacting to his sixth sense that screams to him he´s being blackmailed.

Usually, when people truly “hate” dutied tasks they just ask for a change or plain renounce, period.

He is NOT repulsed by them at the least (ergo what I said: he doesn´t care). He may not feel enamoured with his nujob as Kul Tiran intelligence terrorist, but he doesn´t seem bothered by it… if not he would limit his contributions quite a LOT more (I mean he was actually VERY hyped that time he got to steal the sea relic from the very hands of his former comrades in arms and study).

Id rather

A) See Sylvanas forced to step down and someone else elected. She can continue being herself.
Or
B) She tell everyone else to shove it and quit leaving them stunned and having to pick a new Warchief.

I like B the best seems more in line with her character.

No. I’m telling you that people do activities they don’t like when they’re blackmailed.

The livelihood and his ability to aid his family is on the line. Something you know, but are dancing around, because your argument is less than paper thin.

I disagree (well I agree about “neither”) Why should we have to lose another Horde character to a plot we’ve already done? Bring on the redemption if I have to choose between the two.

Redeeming sylvanas would be a spit in the face of the alliance and some horde.

Writing an expansion just to start another civil war in the Horde and have Sylvanas end up a raid boss is a slap in the face to Sylvanas fans and Horde fans who are tired of this crap.

Garrosh 2.0 would be a spit in the face to anyone that has ever played this game.

Well, i didn’t want this plot to be in this expansion, but if we must have one of the two, killing sylvanas wins everytime.

She must pay for the warcrimes she committed. It would be nice to have sylvanas just vanish out of thin air so we don’t have to have a civil war or redemption.

I seriously doubt any Alliance player is going to be disappointed if she is killed.

Dude,Nathanos et al didn´t went to him with the tale they had kidnapped his wife and children and he better contributed to the cause -including becoming a Forsaken- or else. As a matter of fact, Voss tried to steer him away from becoming an undead in the first place.

No, don´t headcanon things. When Zelling ask about his family it is not because he´s afraid big bad wolf Sylvanas is gonna kill them, is because he´s monitoring THE BARGAIN he made with Voss. Yes you heard well: it was a BARGAIN. A bussiness transaction. Zelling is monitoring HIS INVESTMENT (in this case, a new comfortable life for his former beloved), nothing more and nothing less.

Me thinks the one with the wet paper thin argument is another, not me. Maybe the one headcanoning stuff we all got to see and argue about months ago? (I clearly remember people screaming (figuratively speaking ofc) about Voss terribad characterization that made her forcibly raise Amalia one week and afterwards made her try to discourage a perfectly interested and willing Zelling the next).

No, it would have been nice if they just never started this stupid story and those of us who have loved Sylvanas for over a decade could do so quietly.

Some of you talk about her like she’s real. You know she’s not, you know she’s only doing what Blizzard writes her to do.

the point still stands. Garrosh 2.0 would be stupid and I’m pretty sure multiple sources including a writers have confirmed that Garrosh 2.0 was not the path Sylvanas was going in after all the controversy of everyone spamming them with “GARRY 2.0 HEHEHE”

That doesn’t make story criticism invalid.

Fair enough, but i fail to see a satisfying ending, or one that isn’t either garrosh 2.0 or kerrigan.

same. But maybe they’ll surprise us.
