Then in 9.0 we will loose it all, won’t that be wonderful. It will either come back with pathfinder or it will be gone for ever. I’ll pick it will be gone for ever because that’s what Blizzard wants.
Want No Daze, buy/craft leatherworking bards or roll a tank
Want Water Walking? Buy/Craft Elixir of Water Walking, roll a DK or Shaman or use a water strider.
Want reduced/no Fall Damage? Buy/Craft Goblin Gliders or Roll a Priest or Mage.
The game is better for these changes, a little less mollycoddling will do some people around here a world of good. You shouldn’t get to do everything at once, anymore than you can pick all 3 talents on the same level row.
You’re one of those glass-half-empty kinda people, eh?
And actually, we shouldn’t be forced to do only 1 of these things at a time. Virtually, your here now telling everyone that we’re not allowed to have options on how we play the game.
You’re entitled to this opinion of course, but it helps if it is based on something at least faintly resembling logic. “I feel screwed in 8.2, they’re just gonna screw me more in 9.0” is kinda vapid.
Once again, another bread and butter argument. You’re completely going by something else now that has nothing to do with the current topic at hand.
And it goes to show that Blizzard doesn’t listen to there own playerbase on these sort of things. Oh, no, BfA was rushed so badly, a lot of things are broken. Almost a year later and things are still broken.
Then trolls like yourself, coming to the forums, and then telling everyone that they should not have options, and then telling them to adapt or move on, ugh, how much does Blizzard pay you to kiss there ***?
“Aww! Lefties don’t feel exclusive enough, let’s go chop the left hands off all righthanded people to make them feel special again.”
Shaman/DK already have the ability to use Water Walking in places where mounting isn’t possible, that’s superior to water striders. Do they really need MORE to feel “special” ? It’s a utility… not a class fantasy defining ability.
This is 100% about implementing expansion-reset mentality over the game so they can throw out anything and everything every 2 years to start over from scratch.
Blizzard has totally given up on WoW being a persistent MMORPG and is turning it into a it to resemble a pointless ‘game lobby’ funneling people into meaningless infinitely repeatable instances.
They’ve got a choice: Make world pve content more compelling so that DOING it is more fun… or respect the rewards that motivated us to do their formulaic template-driven schlock in the first place.
Because if they’re not going to do either, neither will most of us.
This. As I’ve stated elsewhere in this thread and others, I’m finished grinding for anything meaningful in this game. Blizzard continues to show us they don’t respect our effort, and takes things we earned away.
Lemme see if I have this right. Your entire argument boils down to 3 main points:
“Exclusivity!” because DK’s and Shamans are entitled whiney-babies that apparently deserve extra special treatment.
“Too many ugly bugs!” because bug-ophobes are entitled whiney-babies that apparently deserve not to be triggered by many gosh darned water striders in the game
“Things Change” because Blizzard is an entitled whiney-baby knows best and player-pushback is a terrible thing that you, personally, must white-knight against.
Was there anything I missed? Because that seems like a whole bunch of nothing-butter to me.
Soo the game is ruined because you have more options?
Fun is pretty subjective, but yours definition is not subjective, but baseless. Feels like trying to convince miss crazy cat lady that her way of life is pretty unhealthy for both her and the cats.
Unless you can actually say that more mounts availables with the same capicity is a bad thing then well, grunt as you like but charisma is definately not part of your plan.
What extra options? We already have every thing mount equipment is offering. I am keeping what I already have and loosing my water striders ability, seems to me I now have less options not more.
Welcome to the thread. It’s a common misconception that those who want to exempt the Water Strider to the incoming mount equip system do not want the mount equip system.
This is false.
All that is being requested is that the Water Strider be exempt from the system and not have an equipment slot, thus retaining it’s named ability.
Blizzard seems incapable of making something new without breaking things.
Blizzard seem like the kid that would make you macaroni art but destroy the cupboard where the macaroni was and get glue all over everything. The thought is nice but the execution is terrible.
