that’s 6+ weeks worth of residuum. The raid tier is barely going to last 6 weeks for a lot of teams, and certainly isn’t going to last 12. pls reduce it by like half. ty

The thing I don’t understand about the “light at the end of the tunnel” comment is that by the time you get to this light at the end of tunnel, the city installed some really nice lights inside the tunnel and it doesn’t matter anymore. The “light” arrives too late. And that doesn’t feel good.
We’re meant to build multiple useful sets with this system; it’s way more fun being able to play with the builds you want, not feel like you’re hopeless to the RNG gods. RNG is fine, but at least make the RNG bad luck protections feasible.
I see no reason why specific Azerite’s shouldn’t cost, say, 3450

I’ve already gotten one piece of 415, so it hasn’t been that bad. Yeah it’s a lot but honestly it is getting Mythic level gear for doing not really Mythic level content, it will take a little while.
RNG does feel bad, though. And Azerite is horrid.

The intention is to help fill out that one piece that never dropped for you, to something to particularly fill in the traits you’d like, when you could never get it from a raid. So they kind of expect you to get these pieces toward the end of the raid cycle, hence why the cost is prohibitive.

To me that makes it look like they intended clearly for you to only get the one slot that you had bad RNG on and not intended for you to ever get 3 specific pieces.

they change the rogue traits so much in season 1 (literally every week), it made mythic+ pointless that season.

At this point I think that it’s better to roll for the random than to go for the specific.
That being said I think that the intent of the vendor was to essentially be the ‘bad luck protection’ system. If rng goes long enough without favoring you with the proper traits then there is a way to insure that you can get them however it’s just that, a last resort. The high cost seems to reflect the appropriate amount of time that they believe to be long enough to say that it’s taken too long to get the drop.
I would guess that the vendor was meant to correct bad rng as it’s primary purpose.

The rules of the real world don’t apply to a fictional world where killing is the main profession of every single player. Your subscription pays for access to the game servers – nothing else. You don’t even own the account lol.
Deceptive / predatory business practices would be taking your money and then denying you access to those game servers for nonsensical or made-up reasons.

you can buy 4 randoms before you can buy 1 specific. Pssh, id rather take the risk and gear my offspecs instead of saving. Honestly specific should be worth half of what it is now.
