I’ve been on these forums since 2004, I know exactly how a system like this would pan out. This community is nothing but predictable in how they behave. There is a reason why Blizzard removed the dislike feature on the forums, because the community abused it. They’d do the exact same thing with a yae or nae system for design changes.

as i said from the very beginning, its a dog and pony show. and thats all it is. Blizz has never really listened to the community. they do things how they want, but then ask for feedback and then completely ignore it. they may add some things at the end of an expansion and then say “we need to listen and communicate better, and we will from here on forward” and then never follow thru. Nothing will come from this Community Council, its something for them to fake listening and let people argue about it as a distraction.
i have zero faith in this dev team, top to bottom. and even less in their communication with players.

This is what it was advertised as

The community did their part now if blizzard devs can stop have cube crawls and look at the forums it would be nice

At no point did Blizzard say that every thread would be responded to, nor did they say that replies would be frequent.
We got exactly what they said we were getting.

Im keeping an excel sheet to see how many threads blizzard replied to put of how many posted. On top of that I’m going to also add in another statistic which will show what blizzard actually changed depending on their discussion

Well they failed to specify that whey would have less than 10% engagement levels and would only reply to easy threads.

I’m surprised they are responding to any. I was under the impression they were mostly going to be letting players discuss and seeing if they came up with anything new.
I could be wrong but I think the expectation was that there would be dev interaction, even if limited. I just think that this close to the holidays when people are off work and spending time with their families that it’s unreasonable to react the way some here are reacting.
