It’s serious when beans turn into a disparaging go to snipe at others. Can’t wait til we downgrade Okra. It’s mushy and makes nothing better.

You realize that warbands are coming right?
This is why the devs rightfully hate us.
That something happens once in previous iteration doesn’t mean that Devs shouldn’t provide better solutions depending on players needs, There’s a lot of types of players, remembers its an RPG, maybe a player wants to use 3/6 or 5/6 of those colors for their own roleplay sessions…etc
It’s a game that evolves if players don’t like this approach, they’re free to provide feedback and complain, that’s how the game changes.

Holiday events should be an easy win. Not a big win, just a very minor one, but still an easy win. A small thing that takes people’s feelings towards the game and gives them a small +1. Somehow, Blizzard manages to find a way to come out of every holiday event with -1 in player sentiment.

I don’t think you understand the term “whale” if you think simply subscribing makes you one. Whales are the people who drop literally thousands of dollars on a game, often for no good reason other than to do it. Have you seen people go “OMG, they added (thing) to the in-game store. I can’t let something go unpurchased, time to spend another hundred bucks…” ? I have. Have you ever seen someone drop $130K on a game just because they’re dumber than a box of rocks, have more money than sense, and have compulsion issues? I have for Diablo: Immortal. Those are examples of whales.
Simply subscribing and playing a game does not make you a whale.

So we’re trying to change the meaning of the term whale now are we.
While this is certainly strange, not letting us earn all colors with alts. This is still a mmorpg. Sometimes rewards are drawn out, especially when a subscription fee is involved.
This is no different then achievements that take a year+ to earn. (What a long strange trip for example)

I wouldn’t even mind this if we could only get one appearance a year but it was account-wide.
The lack of account-wideness is what bothers me. The toy is completely useless for any character of yours that doesn’t do the questline to get a color.
Creating useless toys is stupid.

It is a 3 minute costume. It is indeed pretty useless toy I’m not going to fret about.
For me it’s not about the six year wait. It’s about the fact that alts who have not unlocked a duckling body colour cannot use the toy at all. Give yellow for free please.

A six year wait for anything in game is a stupid concept by the devs.
It’s like say hey don’t play our game we time gate for years at a time.
Maybe you will be lucky enough to get the “love rocket” by the time 6 years is up!
