Is Googling hard?
Well, if reading the thread he’s already posting in is too taxing, I can only imagine the strain that google would involve.
Fair point!
Is citing a source for a claim that you can’t prove is true hard?
My guild is fun, so I’m still here. If I were trying the “pug life”, I’d have unsubbed a few months ago once I saw what there was to see at this point.
It’s coming from superdata which does this stuff all the time. Got bought by Neilson. They’re a reputable source.
For full context though they stated this kind of drop is typical and expected for WoW. The only thing they also noted was SL had a bigger start than most expacs.
yet they are
Which is it?
I get it Sl is a dumpster fire but you made no sense.
I see. Thank you.
Considering it was cited previously in this thread, what’s your argument?
I haven’t quit but I’ve found myself just going into shadowlands doing my emissary’s and then logging into my alts to do old content because i find this expansion pretty boring when it comes to base adventuring. I don’t raid hate pvp and always have. I finished up my covenant and story line on my main and have no desire what so ever to do it on another toon because, it’s just a bunch or repeat lame world quests that give little towards your covenant and upgrades for you sanctum. it’s just not rewarding enough and the amount of resources you need to even get cosmetics stuff and mounts is too much.
You forgot or doesn’t follow my narrative, that is huge issue here on the forums, that and attack/insult too.
It really does feel that way. Yes people don’t give good feedbacks. Process improvement… I know wow is a milking farm for them but you don’t fix what’s not broken and fix what is… and if you don’t know what will be causing a break, you need analyst for that. I guess blizzard sees the player base as their analysts to feed them what’s broken.
You can’t just unsub from Retail. You mean you’ve quit playing Retail but still pay a sub for it.
Oh wow you got him good.
Ya–I’m aware. I stopped playing retail Still have my 6 month sub until April 30th then most likely I’ll be gone. I have been playing classic in the meantime.
The feedback in alpha & beta (especially before mass beta invites) was extremely detailed and constructive and on-point.
They ignored all of it.
There was also that brouhaha a few months ago where people posted things from Blizzard’s invitation-only forum for theorycrafters, where the devs basically just pooped on the feedback that was being given.
I’m not real sure why you keep responding to the guy. When I read on my screen he didn’t even know what a questionnaire means, I blinked for a while before I responded. I figured to be polite and answer one final time then leave it alone.
I’m well aware that Neilson is very respected in what statistics it compiles and releases. It’s one of those main companies that lives and breathes by its reputation of accuracy. If their video game section of it all says it’s a 41% dip, you can be darn certain that they can back it up. Without Blizzards help.
You’re being too kind about what happened.
I want to point out one thing that’s not really being discussed here.
This is normal for the game at this point. This is no indication that Shadowlands is worse than any other expansion. That indicator will be the sales of the next expansion, or the activity following patch releases.
One of the WoW devs (I wanna say Ion, but I could be wrong) even said in an interview that this is what they design content around. I doubt this information is jarring at all to Blizzard. In fact, they may be one of the primary consumers of this superdata information. I doubt they have their own independent marketing research team.
