Back when Baskin Robins was around that was my Favorite Icecream. There is a place in the Twin Cities called Psycho Suzies that used to do a pineapple, ham, and rum soaked raisin pizza.
about to be theres nothing holding me
i even went back to swtor
Not only am I not one of the 41%, I actually reactivated my account after being out of the game since Cataclysm (except for a short time right before the Legion release when I resubbed for one month). Although I wasn’t in the game, I always followed what was going on with it including the various expansions I missed.
MoP didn’t bring me back.
WoD didn’t bring me back.
Legion didn’t bring me back.
BfA didn’t bring me back.
SL brought me back and I’ve been having a blast.
Yes. I believe that if their subsidiary company took time to collect this data, that they made sure they understood what they were collecting.
I also believe that you’re not really keen on what’s actually going on here, but you’re being defensive for no apparent reason.
Personally as I said before Activsion on their Q4 earnings report really wanted people to focus on CoD and Candy Crush while mentioning that WoW is doing better than expected.
Blizzard overall as a company seems to be flailing about trying to hit some kind of magic pot again. Overwatch seems to be done for that’s why they’re rebooting it with Overwatch 2, last I checked HotS is pretty much DoA now, and I read something about SC2 no longer receiving regular updates.
With the flop of WC3, and the group basically trying to sprint away from D3 into D4/Immortals it really feel like the company is living in the past and Activison bought them because WoW has a captive steady subscriber audience of 2 million. But again while it’s not true that the game is failing hard–but rather it’s proving the game isn’t growing it’s staying the same. I guess that’s a win but I work in sales and the truth is if you’re not growing you’re dying.
Yeah, I’m one among the numbers.
This expansion is an unbalanced, disjointed mess. They didn’t even attempt to try. Convoke anyone?
All of my favorite classes and specs are bottom of the barrel, and I’m forced into covenants I don’t like because they do more damage.
I hate Kyrians greatly, yet it’s the best covenant almost all-around.
I have been gone since December, only bothered to buy one month to coast me along until Monster Hunter Rise.
Blizzcon inspired me to check out the covenant campaign quests I haven’t caught up on, but honestly I am starting to feel that “Shadowlands” feeling again, may just leave to play something else before I even finish my month.
This expansion drains your will to play, unless you have friends to force you through it.
People only play because their friends are. No reason otherwise, and if you don’t fear missing out, this game has no “sticky” factor at all.
Sub runs out in 25 days I don’t even log in any more feels like a chore.
Where, exactly, are you pulling the 41% number from?
Let’s not worry about my state of mind.
My point was that after 15 years no one has been able to accurately prove the playerbase of this game.
Thousands of actual players have tried.
Some very creative means too.
My favorite was judging it based on Auctions posted.
But this seems to be a completely out of the game approach, and people are giving them a pass because the company that bought the company that handled this has a reputation they believe in.
Well that’s all well and good.
Has anyone here received this “questionnaire?”
I’ve love to hear what questions were asked, and what proof those questions being answered truthfully there was, enough to make such a claim about the game to not even need to include Asia to be confidently compare it to other games.
Wow, you’re almost just like me. I don’t bother with the rated stuff either but I love random BGs. I have only done up to Mythic 0 and have only done LFR. I started at the end of BC.
My favorite thing in this game is working on my macros and seeing how to optimize myself as much as possible given my gear limitations.
After all, its just a video game, like pac-man. I play to have fun.
I also agree hard core raiders should have the best gear but I do think something needs to be done the gearing issue in Random BG’s. It’s not good for solo players, casuals, new players or even rated PvP’ers trying to gear up alts. Its not fun.
I’m still subbed but am thinking of unsubbing once I have all my mounts at Renown 40. Which won’t be long considering, I am at 38 in all of them right now.
Please read the thread.
Oh I know, but you’d still want something. Whenever I run any dungeon, there is literally nothing that can drop to benefit me. Cause it’s only highest ilvl 210. It’s all living off the vault and hoping for rng, and yes I’ve taken stygia.
It would be nice if the ilvl is a little bit higher. Though I admit it’s not exactly necessary cause 210-215 is enough for ksm. But it kinda sucks if m+ is supposed to be end game but you don’t get end game gearing.
Whatever I’m running my mouth now and I’ll stop complaining.
They wanted to keep players grinding since players will no longer be grinding for warforging or titanforging etc… and they fear that cause we have choices for the vault that we will gear too fast… that unleashed a firestorm for them…
I won’t lie I’m pretty critical to blizzard. I’m personally an analyst myself in real life for a multi billion dollar company… the way blizzard operates for a multi billion dollar company is seriously a laughing joke. Honestly… you need people to quit and leave your product completely to realize you have an issue? These things should be very well addressed and a fix is on the way out before the player base even started realizing it. I mean… how oblivious are you about your product and job? How are you an expert and not foresee things?
You sound like the guy who thinks his uneducated opinion should carry the same weight as a scientist in his own field. And data collection and marketing research is a science.
I mean, believe what you want. Ignorance is a wonderful state of mind.
I literally don’t have the time or patience to read through 140 posts. I read the OP and that didn’t have where it came from so I asked. I have a feeling I know where the number came from since Blizzard hasn’t released sub numbers in a LONG time.
When it comes to game design, Blizzard doesn’t hire professionally. They hire their drinking buddies. They’ve said in interviews that the main thing they’re looking for is people who agree with them.
I canceled my sub and have one month left. I canceled for several reasons: The pathetic response and handling to legacy content (mainly legion). Never feeling any more powerful due to the absolute garbage scaling. The lack of risk vs reward/gear drought. Worthless world quests. Professions being useless besides crafting the legendary parts. The world maps all being disconnected and flight times between taking too long. And on and on. I’m not going to list it all because it’s all already been posted on this forum over and over.
Well, if you’re not willing to read the information, I guess you’ll have to deal with it remaining a mystery.
It’s quite a ways up there, but there’s a couple posts that say where the 41% is coming from.
Nah I’ll just go on with my day full on knowing OP pulled the numbers from their rump. As do most people who use % statistics.
I’m largely done with retail, but less blizzards fault and more my guild died again and I’m tired of trying to find a good home that doesn’t die for one reason or another.
I’ll keep playing classic for now though.
