World quests seem to largely be designed to waste my time more than prior expacs… I’m looking at you Maldraxxus
Very few side quests or side stories, where is Van Cleef for example?
Lack of flying and the prospect of it being gated for weeks after 9.1 due to renown grind to presumably 80
Dungeons:
The shift to make the dungeons more ranged friendly has left them melee unfriendly, as someone currently maining DH… this is not fun.
Kiting as a tank: lol NOPE not fun
Making every fight mechanically complex when it doesn’t need to be: Ditto above
Raid:
Overtuned IMO… seriously, having personal responsibility mechanics phase in such that even a single player messing up wipes the raid in heroic is… not cool, in general this didn’t use to be a common thing.
The fights aren’t that interesting for the most part and just seem like mechanics stacked for difficulty sake.
Overall:
Covenants still <censored>, being forced to make a decision between RP, Power, and what I think looks cool doesn’t feel good at all to me.
There just doesn’t seem to be substance per se
Re-balancing classes mid-tier in a .5 patch… doesn’t feel good either, it basically discards all of the investment players have made.
Am I going to quit… probably not, do I like how things are going: no not particularly.
Again wrong. Blizzard is only online game that has no connection between region. While other games have that. And are even more stable then Blizz. What keeps blizzard is business is fact people are used to WoW , and it’s hard to switch to other games after years and years of playing. If WoW came in same time as ESO of FF it would be least played game.
I said it , Blizzard has stupid idea of keeping stuff and some rewards/loot only in one expansion. People dislike that( I’m not talking about “elite” morons who complain non stop that this is the right way”)
They keep changing game every expansion. This expac we have anima and some stuff, next expansion is useless nothing we had in SL is worth crap in new expac, same with BFA. Azerite is worth cr*p now , and all that stuff. Since you already pushing people to start all over again every expac let them be able get all the stuff from previous expac. Don’t force people to play one expansion just so they could have something.
Its the only reality I know, sadly.
There is no way to know how many players are actively subscribed to this video game without Blizzard telling us.
I don’t care about “70 hears of history.”
What does that even mean?
They were collecting stats on online video games 50 years before anyone cared?
That company means nothing to me, particularly because they don’t know anything about this game.
If it was data from Wowhead, I would be more inclined to care, because you would know it would be collected by people who actually understand the trends of the game, and care about the data they are collecting.
Dang it, I hope you found something to fill your pockets in place of that, I was fortunate to survive the culling of my work place and I still wish we could bring everyone back that we lost
What’s wrong?
That’s exactly my point.
Its basically three separate games being operated by different factors with differing trends.
There is zero percent chance anyone studied these trends properly in Asia, Europe, and Americas, with equal understanding of everything else.
That alone would have taken months.
What that means is the Nielsen has been obtaining data from various forms of media and entertainment since 1950. They have been around since long before the advent of commercial internet use or even video games. They have established practices and methods over a period longer than Blizzard itself has existed. That “means” that they know what they are doing and you are dismissing them out of hand merely because they said something you didn’t like. I am sorry, but that does not lend any strength to your argument whatsoever. It actually lends credence to the opposite.
Now it is time for me to go about my day. Have fun with whatever you decide to do today.
For me this quote sums up why I didn’t invest one single hour into the SL expansion.
I saw it coming a mile away and knew from the get go Acti-Blizzard was only setting themselves up to farm token sales and time gates in order to increase profits.
I am done with that …we’ve seen the same recycled garbage for a few expansions now.
All of this is just ignorance. That site is literally a subsidiary of the Nielsen ratings service. Claiming they’re some hokey third party site would be like me showing you a poll from Pew Research and you going All polls are skewed. Ignorance thy font is green.
I’m just gonna go ahead and block your posts. No need to ever engage with you again.
Four more months and I stop heckling people in these forums. Played up one character to 60 and tried some of the stuff at 60 and I don’t care for World of Temporarycraft and Blue Kool-Aid. If I didn’t pick this up on a sale I’d have been even more disappointed.
With that said I hope they continue on this course. I’m done hoping for better in this game and honestly I hope they remove ground mounts next expansion and put them behind a path finder like flight. They already laid the groundwork out for it with flying mounts and The Maw knocking out ground mounts. I’m sure that will draw more people in. If anything they could give ground mounts attributes and make them the new table mission next expansion instead of using them for actual mounting…hic!
I started to play wow back in 2006 on EU servers and moved in USA during legion. Since it was hard to keep up with time difference (maybe not for someone who has no job , real life and can adjust his play time based on 8 hours difference) I changed to US servers. Blizzard gave me their multi-billion response that there is no way I could transfer anything from EU account to US. Same email , Same information. ESO did that in during my call with them, no charge nothing. Just provided my billing address and proof of residence
Yet you will trust blizzard to state accurately what the numbers are, if they ever do so again.
You do know that no business in their right mind would ever publicly admit a failure.
Neilson ratings and statistics have been around since probably before you were born. They are filled out by people and sent back in on all kinds of subjects. Mostly television. That certainly doesn’t mean any video game evaluations are erroneous.
Eh, you are an MVP and have a vested interest in showing blizzard in the best light, just like the actual workers.
